Step Up star Jenna Dewan, at the age of 43, has joyfully announced her third pregnancy. This will be her second child with her beloved fiancé, Steve Kazee.
Dewan unveiled the thrilling news during a cover story for Romper, where she gave insight into her work obligations and pregnancy journey. In remembering her past pregnancies, she mentioned a difficult postpartum period after giving birth to her first child, a daughter named Everly, now ten, whom she co-parents with ex-husband Channing Tatum.
Reflecting on her work-life balance, Dewan mentioned that she returned to filming merely six weeks after welcoming Everly into the world, working in Vancouver. Her second child, a son named Callum, three, entered the world in March 2020, amidst the initial stages of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
As she awaits the arrival of her third child, Dewan expressed the uncertainty surrounding her post-birth work schedule. Currently, she has her hands full filming season six of The Rookie while embracing the abounding joys of pregnancy.
The fate of her character, Bailey Nune, in the upcoming 7th season of The Rookie heavily depends on the show's renewal. Despite the uncertain future of her character, Dewan had nothing but praise for the working conditions on The Rookie, describing them as stable and comfortable.
With the expectancy of her third child, Dewan fully acknowledges the changes her body has gone through over the years. She notes that her post-birth recovery could be slower than in the past, but warmly accepts whatever changes the future holds.
