Discover Kevin Costner’s Massive million Western Saga

In the last 10 years, Kevin Costner has been painstakingly developing a Western saga, Horizon: An American Saga. This much-awaited project brings to life the historic expansion and settlement of the American west before and after the Civil War. The unveiling of this three-part saga is set to be on June 28.

The saga is even more personal to Costner as he introduces his son, Hayes, to the world. The character Hayes plays is named after him, a character Costner had conjured more than a decade ago. The decision to cast Hayes was more than just nepotism; it was an opportunity for father and son to bond.

The making of the movie did not come cheap – it cost a whopping million. Horizon is set and filmed in the picturesque landscapes of Utah. But Utah was more than just a filming location for Costner. He plans to establish Territory Film Studios right here. This grand studio, spanning 152,750 square feet, will even house a Costner-themed restaurant.

Costner is no stranger to the director's chair. He made a smashing directorial debut with Dances with Wolves, a film that bagged Best Picture and Best Director at the 1990 .

Apart from Hayes, Costner and his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner have two more , Cayden, aged 16, and Grace, aged 13. Costner also has three children from his former to Cindy Silva and one child from his past relationship with Bridget Rooney.
