Isabella, the daughter of Michael Strahan, is courageously battling medulloblastoma, a common cancerous brain tumor in children, while providing a candid insight into her journey through a YouTube series.
Bravely Sharing Her Journey
Isabella, a 19-year-old student at USC and up-and-coming model, has been bravely documenting her cancer journey on a YouTube series. She recently provided an encouraging update, announcing that her doctor reduced her chemotherapy rounds from six to four. With this change in her treatment schedule, Isabella is expected to complete her treatment by May, opening up the possibility of a cancer-free summer.
Initial Discovery and Diagnosis
Before her diagnosis, Isabella experienced symptoms such as headaches that gradually escalated to nausea and impaired balance. The discovery of a rapid-growing 4-centimeter tumor nestled in the back of her head led to her medulloblastoma diagnosis. The tumor necessitated two surgical procedures to be completely removed.
Support from Her Father
Michael Strahan, famed football player and television host, quickly flew to L.A. upon hearing the news of his daughter's diagnosis. He has been providing steady emotional support throughout her treatment.
Current Status and Recent Updates
Currently at the halfway point of her treatment, Isabella is also participating in physical therapy. The goal is to regain her strength and energy sapped by the rigorous cancer treatment. Further showcasing her resilience, she revealed that not only has she been rewatching her favorite show, Euphoria, but she's also finding time to catch up with her life coach.
