Al-Hasakah:

Syrian Democratic Forces reportedly captured Rijlat al-Hamzah, Madinah, Al-Sarajiyah, and Qabr Taha in southern Al-Hasakah governorate from the Islamic State.

Idlib:

Improvised explosive device targeted a rebel vehicle on a road near the village of Al-Mastouma. The explosion reportedly wounded seven rebel fighters.

Hama:

Hurras al-Deen raided positions of the Syrian Arab Army in Tell Bazam near the city of Souran. According to a statement released by Hurras al-Deen, a dozen of Syrian Arab Army’s elements were killed and wounded in the encounter, as control over Tell Bazam is currently disputed. Reports claimed that two elements of Hurras al-Deen were killed in the encounter.

Improvised explosive device targeted a vehicle of Jabhat Tahrir Suriya’s commander pf Hama sector, Mahmoud Bunyan in Al-Ghab Plain region. According to the reports, Bunyan was not wounded in the incident.

Daraa:

Rebel ‘Central Operations Room of the South’ released a statement claiming that rebels repelled Syrian Arab Army and allies’ attempt to advance in Al-Tablin area near Tafas. According to the operations room, the attacks were repelled on the villages of Al-Tira and Al-Tell, as the Syrian Arab Army attempted to reach Tell Sammen. The statement also claimed that the operations room destroyed three tanks and a BMP, as well as killed and wounded several elements of the Syrian Arab Army in the encounters.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 32 and wounded 22 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban), as well as destroyed three vehicles, 13 motorcycles, and four fighting positions in Ghormach, Khwaja Sahib Posh, and Pashtun Kot districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 14 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed a motorcycle in Chardara district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Takhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Dashti Qala district.

Kunar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded two elements of the Islamic State in Chapa Dara district.

Islamic State launched an attack on the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s positions in Dikel area of Chapa Dara district, reportedly killing one and capturing four elements.

Nangarhar Province:

Ghor Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shahrak district.

Daykundi Province:

Seven elements of the Afghan Local Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with their weapons in Azarki Killi area of Ajristan district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Andar district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s convoy in Noghi area of Ghazni district, killing eight, wounding six, and arresting four elements of the army. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and one wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized two PK machine guns, an RPG launcher, and five assault rifles from the killed elements.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 64 and wounded 15 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two vehicles and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Chora, Khas Urozgan, and Tarinkot districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier on a road in Mizan district. Six elements of the Afghan National Army were killed by the explosion.

CJTF-OIR:

Between the 25th of June and the 1st of July 2018 CJTF-OIR has conducted 20 strikes in Syria. CJTF-OIR‘s main focus in Syria at the moment is Deir al-Zour-Albu Kamal region where they did 14 strikes supporting SDF‘s operations against IS destroying four IS supply routes, an IS-held building, six IS vehicles, and two IS IED belts.

Other area where six strikes occurred is Al-Shadaddi, destroying five IS vehicles, two IS logistics hubs, an IS-held building, four IS IEDs, and an IS vehicle-borne IED. Full report on CJTF-OIR strikes conducted in both Syria & Iraq can be found here.
