‘Afrin Liberation Forces’ (Hêzên Rizgariya Efrînê) released a new statement claiming that the group conducted two operations against the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army in northern Aleppo. Full statement released by the group;
The statement noted that the troops of HRE carried out a sniping operation on June 14 in the Meryamin village of Shera district which targeted an element of mercenaries who was killed.
On June 16 another sniping operation carried out by our troops in Kefer Khasher village of Azaz area where the mercenary was killed.
Unknown gunmen wounded two civilians on a road in Hawass area in eastern Raqqa.
Vehicle-borne improvised explosive device targeted a security center of the Syrian Democratic Forces’ Asayîş (Security) near Suni roundabout in the city of Al-Qamishli. The explosion reportedly killed one and wounded at least two civilians. The explosion was reportedly claimed by the Islamic State.
Improvised explosive device wounded two media activists; Omar al-Dimashqi and Mohammed al-Dimashqi in the city of Sarmada. Omar al-Dimashqi was transferred to a hospital in Turkey due to his injuries.
“Al-Muqawama al-Shabiya” (Popular Resistance) released three elements of the Syrian Arab Army, who were kidnapped in Al-Sanamayn on 15th of June. The group stated that the elements were kidnapped in order to put pressure on the Syrian Arab Army to release detained individuals from the locality. The group also claimed “surprises” for the Syrian Arab Army if the individuals are not released in the near future.
Unknown gunmen assassinated the head of the Syrian Arab Army’s reconciliation committee in Atman, Mohammed al-Hari on the road between Al-Yadoudah and Muzayrab.
Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Division attempted to arrest a former official of Jaysh al-Islam, Munir Waheed in Tasil. However, Waheed managed to flee before the army could arrest him.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 30 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Gurziwan district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed seven and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Ishkamish district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News claimed that the group cleared Naizgan Dasht and Bahiri areas of Pur Chaman district from the Afghan National Security Forces.
Two elements of the Afghan Local Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Pur Chaman district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed two and wounded several elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Nesh district.
