Aleppo:

Free Syrian Army’s Firqat al-Sultan Murad (Sultan Murad Division) clashed with the Syrian Democratic Forces near Marea in northern Aleppo, as the latter was attempting to infiltrate an area near Marea. According to the reports, one civilian was wounded during the clashes between the two.

Around 13 prisoners escaped from a Al-Jaysh al-Watani al-Suri’s (Syrian National Army) military prison in the city of Al-Bab. Most of the prisoners that escaped were imprisoned on the charges of belonging to the Islamic State. Al-Jaysh al-Watani al-Suri managed to arrest eight prisoners, as the search is still ongoing for the remaining prisoners.

Raqqa:

Unknown individuals killed an element of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the village of Al-Jarniya.

Idlib:

Unknown gunfire wounded four civilians at a refugee camp near the village of Qah in northern Idlib.

Deir al-Zour:

Syrian Democratic Forces’ Media Center released a report regarding today’s advances and encounters with the Islamic State in the governorate;

1-Al-Bagouz axis: Our forces advanced about 1 km and managed to install 10 new points after violent engagements with Daesh terrorists, killing a number of them.

Immediately, our competent engineering teams began combing the area and dismantling the mines planted by the terrorists in the area.

While the International coalition aircraft jets out several air strikes against the sites of terrorists, killing and wounding in their ranks.

2-Hajin axis: Violent engagements broke out between our fighters and terrorists, in which a number of terrorists were killed. Our fighters managed to reach 600 meters and install 9 new points.

Our military engineering teams combed the liberated area and dismantled a number of mines.

The coalition’s air force also destroyed a number of terrorist fortifications, in addition to the detonation of a number of car bombs prepared by terrorists to bomb our forces, and several terrorists were killed in air strikes.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies captured Qabr al-Sheikh Hussein area in Tell al-Safa area from the Islamic State. Syrian Arab News Agency released a report regarding the event;

Army units advanced in the area of Toloul al-Safa, the last stronghold of Daesh terrorists in the eastern Badyia in Sweida Province.

SANA reporter said that the army units in cooperation with supporting forces established control over the area of Qabr al-Sheikh Hussein after fierce clashes with the terrorists.

Many of the terrorists including snipers were killed by the army fires according to the source.

The army units discovered amounts of ammunition and weapons in the liberated areas.

Afghanistan

Kapisa Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) and destroyed three motorcycles in Nijrab district.

Paktia Province:

Afghan Local Police’s commander and an element of the Afghan National Army surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Jani Khel and Arghanj Khwa districts.

Badghis Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Muqur district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded nine elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Muqur district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed two elements of the Afghan National Police in Andar district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Police’s vehicle, killing five policemen in Ghazni district.

Paktika Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Urgun district.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two bases and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Tarinkot district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four and arrested three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as found and defused 20 improvised explosive devices in Nad Ali and Jerashk districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked Afghan National Security Forces’ convoys arriving in Goban, Sara Shakh, Wazir Manda, and Balosano areas of Nahri Saraj district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News claimed that ten elements of the Afghan National Security Forces and two elements of the United States Army were killed, as well as eight vehicles destroyed in the attacks.

Kandahar Province:

Two Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier and a pickup in Jelahore area of Arghandab district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
