Aleppo:

Improvised explosive device killed an individual near Al-Hikma hospital in the center of Manbij city. Several unconfirmed reports claimed that two elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces were also wounded in the incident.

Deir al-Zour:

Syrian Democratic Forces made advances on Al-Baghouz Fawqani and Kasra fronts against the Islamic State. Syrian Democratic Forces’ Press Office released a statement regarding the advances;

1- On the axis of Al-Bagouz Faoukani village in the east, our forces achieved an advance of three kilometers on the first day of 10 September 2018. They clashed directly with mercenaries and inflicted losses on their ranks. Our fighters liberated ten points of mercenary points. Our forces returned on the second day and achieved one km advance and liberated seven others points from mercenary fortifications.

The Battles of this axis, witnessed air support of coalition aircraft for three times, where the aircraft targeted the movements of mercenaries.

In the Al-Bagouz axis and its clashes, four fighters of our forces were injured. They were taken to the hospital for medical treatment. An armored bulldozer of our forces was hit by a landmine causing Material damage.

2-Kasra front: Our forces began its progress from this axis, where the progress on the first and second days of six km and ten points of the fortifications of mercenaries were liberated, and violent clashes happened at this axis face to face, and the alliance participated effectively carried out seven raids targeted mercenary movements.

Our field forces command confirmed the deaths of forty one mercenaries in these battles and the destruction of several vehicles including four-wheel vehicles carrying medium machine guns, as well as the destruction of artillery shells and bulldozers, as well as six fighters of our forces were martyred

The heaviest fighting is still occurring on this front, Where the mercenaries are fighting strongly to repel the advance of our force.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies made additional limited advances against the Islamic State in Tell al-Safa area. Syrian Arab News Agency released a report regarding the event;

Army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces, tightened the noose on the remnants of Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in the area of al-Safa hills, the last bastion of the Takfiri organization in the depth of Sweida eastern Badyia (desert).

SANA reporter in Sweida said that army units established fire control over new areas in the rocky cliffs which are full of caves along after destroying Daesh dens and fortifications by the army air force and artillery, in addition to killing scores of terrorists including snipers.

The reporter added that army units foiled new attempts by Daesh terrorists to flee from al-Safa hills in the eastern countryside after violent clashes as a number of them were killed and others were injured, in addition to destroying one of their machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Afghanistan

Jowzjan Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) seized an Afghan National Police’s post in Qush Tepa district, killing three and arresting two policemen. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized seven assault rifles from the post.

Sar-e Pol Province:

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 24 and wounded 20 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed three bases and two motorcycles in Sayyad and Sar-e Pol districts.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic State in Khogyani and Achin districts.

Maidan Wardak Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven, wounded two, and arrested one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Day Mirdad and Nirkh district.

Logar Province:

Five elements of the Afghan National Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan withe their weapons Mohammad Agha district.

Paktia Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 30 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chonai area of Sharana district.

Badghis Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven and wounded 11 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as seized a motorcycle and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Muqur district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s base and four checkpoints in Badroki area of Sang Atish district.

Herat Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked four and overran two Afghan National Security Forces’ checkpoints in Pashtun Zarghon district. Nine elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed and wounded in the encounters. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized a sniper rifle, a mortar, an RPG launcher, two PK machine guns, a pistol, five assault rifles, and large quantities of ammunition from the two posts.

Ghazni Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an Afghan National Army’s base in Muqur district, reportedly killing 12 soldiers and seizing 11 assault rifles and eight machine guns in the process.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted an Afghan National Army’s foot patrol, killing three soldiers in the city of Ghazni.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and wounded seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Farah district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Police’s checkpoint in Aab Khorma area of Farah district. Two elements of the Afghan National Police were killed, one wounded, and one arrested, as well as a pickup and a motorcycle destroyed in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized a PK machine gun, two assault rifles, and an RPG launcher from the checkpoint.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran Afghan National Army’s Ghondi Base and three nearby checkpoints in Shah Joy district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News claimed that 40 elements of the Afghan National Army were killed in the encounters.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed ten elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Lashkar Gah district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Police’s checkpoint in Parchawi area of Jerashk district. Eight elements of the Afghan National Police were killed and two arrested in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized a PK machine gun, an RPG launcher, five assault rifles, and a mortar from the checkpoint.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 62 and wounded 73 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nesh, Khakrez, and Maywand districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
