Idlib:

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham arrested Abdul Jabbar al-Tamer on charges of conspiring against the group in the village of Ahsem, south of Idlib. Al-Tamer was reportedly trying to form an administration committee in Ahsem in an attempt to take over the locality and its facilities from the group’s control.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies advanced against the Islamic State in Qabr al-Sheikh Hassan, Tell Ghanem and Umm Marzakh areas near Tell al-Safa in eastern Al-Suwayda. Syrian Arab News Agency released a statement regarding the event;

Sweida, SANA – Army units established control over more areas in the lines of Qabr al-Sheikh Hasan and Um Marzakh in Toloul al-Safa in the eastern countryside of Sweida Province after fierce clashes with Daesh terrorists, killing or injuring many of the terrorists including snipers.

SANA reporter said that the army also achieved advance in the lines of Tal Ghanem, killing many of the terrorists and destroying two vehicles equipped with machine guns at the surrounding of al-Hawi and Kherbet al-Hawi.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 21 and wounded eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban), as well as cleared Mullah Arefi area in Lawlash district and the vicinity of Kohistan district’s center.

Three elements of the Afghan Local Police defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Mullah Arefi, Sanjatak, and Kala Kazim areas of Lawlash district.

Badakhshan Province:

Two elements of the Afghan National Police defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Ishkashim district.

Baghlan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and seized a vehicle filled with ammunition in Dahana-I-Ghuri district.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight elements of the Islamic State in Khogyani district.

Maidan Wardak Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Jalrez district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s vehicle, killing two and wounding four soldiers in Jalrez district.

Badghis Province:

Afghan Local Police’s commander, Khairullah (Abdul Jalil) defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, handing over a pickup, five PK machine guns, nine assault rifles, and two pistols to the group.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 18 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed a vehicle in Naw Abad village of Qarabagh district.

Paktika Province:

20 elements of the Afghan National Police defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Waza Khwa district.

Nimruz Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assassinated Chahar Burjak district’s police head, Ghulam Muhiuddin in front of his house in the city of Zaranj, capital of Nimruz Province.

Helmand Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed two elements of the Afghan National Army in Zarghon Killi and Dabaro Qulf areas of Nad Ali district.
