Aleppo:

Syrian Democratic Forces’ Press Office stated that the YPG and YPJ conducted an operation against the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army’s Katibat Liwa al-Fatah and Moro Qalander group in Al-Mahmudiyah district, reportedly killing nine elements. Furthermore, in another operation the YPG and YPJ reportedly killed three elements of the Free Syrian Army in the vicinity of Kawa al-Hadad roundabout.

Idlib:

Faylaq al-Sham and a number of scholars and sheikhs mediated a ceasefire between Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Jabhat Tahrir Suriya (Ahrar al-Sham and Harakat Nour al-Deen al-Zenki). Faylaq al-Sham’s official, Omar Hudhayfah stated that the ceasefire started at 6 PM (18:00) Syrian time (UTC +3) and also includes Jabhat Tahrir Suriya’s ally Suqour al-Sham.

Deir al-Zour:

Left over Islamic State’s improvised explosive device killed a civilian in the Syrian Democratic Forces-held city of Gharanij in the eastern Deir al-Zour.

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency stated that a sniper killed two elements of the Syrian Arab Army at the outskirts of the city of Al-Bukamal (Albu Kamal).

Damascus:

Syrian Arab News Agency reported that an evacuation agreement was reached between the Syrian government and Faylaq al-Rahman and Jaysh al-Islam in Douma. The agency stated that Faylaq al-Rahman’s elements will be evacuated to Idlib, while Jaysh al-Islam’s elements will be evacuated to Jarabulus. The agreement also includes Jaysh al-Islam releasing civilian and military prisoners, as well as handing over bodies of the killed soldiers. However, Jaysh al-Islam’s head of the political bureau, Mohammed Alloush denied that the group finished negotiations with the Syrian government and Russia, regarding Jaysh al-Islam’s evacuation from Douma. Alloush did state that both parties agreed to the evacuation of humanitarian cases from Douma.

Evacuation of Faylaq al-Rahman’s elements and their families from Douma in the East Ghouta to Idlib through Al-Wafideen camp is expected to start soon. Syrian Arab Red Crescent and buses for the evacuation are present at the outskirts of Douma and prepared for the evacuation.

Two Jaysh al-Islam’s administrative and financial officials, Noman al-Ajwa (Abu Ali Edara) and Mohammed al-Ajwa (Abu Omar Mali) were found dead near Sijn al-Batoun (Concrete Prison) in Douma. Several sources, such as the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets) reported that two individuals were killed by the shelling of Douma, however, it was not specified if the killed individuals were civilians or military personnel. Several other sources claimed that the two Jaysh al-Islam’s officials were killed due to a disagreement inside the group regarding stances on the evacuation from Douma.

Daraa:

Improvised explosive device killed one and wounded one element of the Free Syrian Army’s Jaysh al-Ababil in the city of Jassim. The explosion occurred when Jaysh al-Ababil’s elements were unloading explosive devices in the vicinity of their headquarters, in order to plant them and prevent future Islamic State-affiliated Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid’s infiltration attempts. The wounded element was transferred to a hospital in Nawa.

Islamic State-affiliated Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid executed the mayor of Abdeen, Naji Mustafa al-Mustafa on the charges of spying for the Syrian government in the city of Al-Shajara. Al-Mustafa was arrested a month ago by the group on the charges of cooperating and spying for the Syrian government, while he was on his way towards Syrian government-held areas in Daraa governorate.

Iraq

Anbar:

Iraqi Security Forces conducted operations against the Islamic State in the governorate, reportedly killing ten elements of the group. One of the ten killed elements was Islamic State’s foreign commander, Abu Taha al-Tunisi.

Diyala:

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency reported that a sniper killed an element of the Iraqi Army in Al-Buslibi village.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) conducted an operation against the Afghan Local Police and overran Bokhan area of Gurziwan district, after the latter withdrew. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan also reported that Afghan National Security Forces withdrew from Darah Shakh, Takhara, Ab Barik, and Baharak areas of Gurziwan district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed three and wounded four elements of the Afghan National Army, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Bocha area of Pashtun Kot district. Separately, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s tank in Aaq Guzra area of Qaramqol district.

Jowzjan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and arrested three elements of the Islamic State in Derzab district. One of the two killed elements was reportedly from Uzbekistan.

Balkh Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed three and wounded two elements of the Afghan National Army in Dawlat Abad district.

Kunduz Province:

Badakhshan Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan wounded two elements of the Afghan National Police in Yaftali Sufla district. Separately, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device killed one and wounded three elements of the Afghan National Police in Baharak district.

Samangan Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked two Afghan National Army’s posts in Darah Sof Payan district, reportedly killing one and wounding one soldier.

Kapisa Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device killed one and wounded two elements of the Afghan National Army in Tagab district.

Kabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked several Afghan National Army’s posts along the Kabul – Jalalabad highway at the outskirts of Surobi district. Five elements of the Afghan National Army were reportedly killed and two vehicles destroyed in the attacks. Separately, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed Afghan National Army’s vehicle in Surobi district, killing two and wounding five soldiers.

Nangarhar Province:

Improvised explosive device targeted the first district of the city of Jalalabad, capital of Nangarhar Province. Reports suggest that one civilian was killed and three wounded by the explosion.

Afghan National Security Forces killed six, wounded two, and arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Achin, Deh Bala (Haska Meyna), and Khogyani districts.

Maidan Wardak Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Saydabad district. One of the three killed elements is Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s commander Idris. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan reported that an element of the Afghan National Army surrendered to the group in Saydabad district.

Logar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Mohammad Agha district.

Khost Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assassinated an element of the ‘National Directorate of Security’ in Nadir Shah Kot district.

Herat Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan arrested three elements of the Afghan Local Police in Khaipyan area of Shindand district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and arrested five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices in Gelan district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed five and wounded ten elements of the Afghan National Security Forces, as well as destroyed a tank on the outskirts of Ghazni city.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed an element of the Afghan Local Police in Muqur district.

Paktika Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan raided Afghan Local Police’s post in Mata Khan district, reportedly killing one and wounding two elements of the local police.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed Afghan National Army’s convoy in Mata Khan district. Two elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and three wounded, as well as a tank destroyed in the ambush. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed in the encounter.

Farah Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive targeted Afghan National Army’s foot patrol in Shewan area of Bala Buluk district, reportedly killing two soldiers.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 12 and wounded eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a camp and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Khas Urozgan district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six, wounded one, and arrested three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nad Ali district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed four elements of the Afghan Local Police in Saminar area of Jerashk district.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 20, wounded ten, and arrested nine elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed eight vehicles, 26 motorcycles, a headquarters, a field hospital, and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Maywand district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now two strikes reports will be published each week, on Mondays and Fridays.

Islamic State’s improvised explosive device reportedly killed three elements of the Philippine Army in Sulu province.
