Military events/news are listed below by the governorates:
Aleppo:
‘Afrin Liberation Forces’ (Hêzên Rizgariya Efrînê) released a new statement claiming that the group conducted an operation against the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army in northern Aleppo. Full statement released by the group;
On August 15th, our forces carried out two special operations targeting the positions of the Turkish occupation soldiers and mercenaries in the vicinity of the village of Hazwan, of Al-Bab area, 2 military checkpoints were destroyed and two mercenaries from the so-called Al-Hamzah Division (Ferqet Al-Hamzah) were killed,8 others were wounded, including 3 Turkish soldiers.

Idlib:
The Russian and Syrian air forces and conducted air raids over Maarat al-Numaan, Hass, and Ariha. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), 16 civilians were killed and more than 50 were wounded by the air raids.

Daraa:
Unknown gunmen killed two former members of the Free Syrian Army’s Ahrar Tell Shehab in the village of Nahj near Tell Shehab. The two members reportedly joined the Syrian Army’s 4th Division after signing a reconciliation agreement with the Syrian government.
Afghanistan
Faryab Province:
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) killed five and wounded six members of the Afghan Local Police near the administration center of Qaysar district.
Helmand Province:
Taliban snipers killed 10 members of the Afghan National Security Forces in Parchawi area of Nad Ali district.
CJTF-OIR:
CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
