‘Afrin Liberation Forces’ (Hêzên Rizgariya Efrînê) released a new statement claiming that the group conducted an operation against the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army in Afrin region. Full statement released by the group;
On August 2, our troops ambushed 2 mercenaries of “Ahrar al-Sham on the road related to Feryria village of Jandres district in Afrin area, the 2 mercenaries are: Menar Mustafa, Aziz Aziz, the troops made sure that the 2 mercenaries were carrying out terrorist actions and participated in the occupation of Afrin with the Turkish occupation.
Improvised explosive device killed a civilian in the eastern part of Azaz city in northern Aleppo.

Improvised explosive device killed an element of the Syrian Democratic Forces near Al-Firqat 17 in northern Raqqa. The explosion occurred as the element was trying to defuse the explosive device.
Vehicle-borne improvised explosive device killed one and wounded three civilians in Al-Nashwa neighborhood of Al-Hasakah city.
Afghan National Security Forces killed ten and wounded five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Suryan area of Chahar Bolak district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed five and arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Zana Khan district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Deh Rawud district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran two Afghan National Security Forces’ posts in Nari Zabar area of Nawa-I-Barakzayi district. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News, 18 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed in the encounter.
