‘Afrin Liberation Forces’ (Hêzên Rizgariya Efrînê) released a new statement claiming that the group conducted several operations against the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army in northern Aleppo. Full statement released by the group;
On 31 July, our forces carried out a qualitative operation targeting the bases and machinery of the Turkish occupation army in the village of Kimara in the area of Shirawa in Afrin, where our forces destroyed two fortifications for the occupation soldiers, including weapons and a tank that was shelling civilian areas in the surrounding villages as a result of those operations three Turkish soldiers were killed and four wounded.
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham reportedly released the commander in chief of the Free Syrian Army’s Free Idlib Army, Colonel Afif Suleiman. Suleiman was arrested yesterday at a checkpoint near Darat Izza in western Aleppo.

Improvised explosive device wounded two civilians on the road between Salok and Tell al-Halib in northern Raqqa.
Rebel factions shelled Bashlama near the city of Qardahah. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, one civilian was killed and three were wounded by the shelling.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 25 and wounded six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Charkh district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed 16 and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Jawand district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran four Afghan National Security Forces’ checkpoints in Pato area of Gizab district. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News, 20 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed in the encounters.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Security Forces’ vehicle, killing five elements in Akhund Khel area of Seyuri district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Security Forces’ post in Talkan area of Panjwayi district. Eight elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed and two were wounded in the encounter.
CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
