Syrian Democratic Forces arrested at least eight elements of the Islamic State during raids in Dhubyan, Al-Shuhail, and Al-Busayra in eastern Deir al-Zour.
Improvised explosive device wounded two former commanders of the Free Syrian Army; Abu Abada al-Masri and Radhi al-Hashish in the village of Al-Ajmi, northwest of Daraa.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) overran an Afghan National Army’s base and two posts in Qalay-I-Zal district. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News, 11 elements of the Afghan National Army were killed in the encounter.
Five elements of the Afghan Local Police defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Yaftal-e Payan district.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 52 and wounded 33 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tapa-e Qarghan area of Daha-e Ghori district.
Eight elements of the Afghan National Security Forces surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Jawand district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Security Forces’ military base in Shamulzai district. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News, 18 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed in the encounter.
Improvised explosive device killed three and wounded 23 civilians Ganj area of Spin Boldak district.
