Russian Air Force conducted several air raids over the city of Jisr al-Shughur in western Idlib. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), one civilian was killed and five were wounded by the air raids.
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham executed the former driver and bodyguard of the Islamic State’s leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Khaled Neama al-Jubouri (Abu Abdul Latif al-Jubouri). Al-Jubouri was captured in an anti-Islamic State raid near Darat Izza in western Aleppo.

Left over Islamic State’s improvised explosive device killed two civilians in Al-Sousa in eastern Deir al-Zour. Similarly, an improvised explosive device killed a civilian on the road between the villages of Dhubyan and Al-Tiyana.

Unknown gunmen attacked a Syrian Arab Army’s checkpoint in the city of Al-Sanamayn. Two civilians were killed as a result of clashes between the two sides.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 18 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban), including a prominent commander, Mawlavi Jundullah in Kolian area of Bilchiragh district. Nine elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were also wounded in the encounters.
Three elements of the Afghan National Army defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Surobi district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed one and wounded four elements of the Afghan National Police in an attack on a post in Namaindagi area of Farah district.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 20 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Kajaki district.
