’Wrath of Olives Operation Room’ claimed responsibility for the yesterday’s ‘vehicle-borne improvised explosive device’ attack in Afrin city. The operation room claimed that the explosion killed 25 and wounded more than 40 elements of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army, while other reports stated that the explosion killed at least 12 and wounded 43 civilians.
Syrian Democratic Forces arrested four individuals accused of belonging to the Islamic State near Thulth Khaniz in Ayn Issa area in northern Raqqa.
Syrian Arab Air Force conducted air raids over Ariha, Maarat al-Numaan, Idlib, Ajlas, and Jisr al-Shughur. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), ten civilians were killed and 45 were wounded by the air raids.
Syrian Arab Army recaptured Al-Hamamiyat and the nearby Tell al-Hamamiyat from Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir (National Liberation Front).

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) reportedly captured one Afghan National Security Forces’ checkpoint and 14 villages in Nahrin district.
Maidan Wardak Province:
Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Azra district.
Two elements of the Afghan National Security Forces surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Dara Boom district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Obe district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed nine elements of the Afghan Local Police during clashes between the two in Qasim Bazar area of Marjah district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized four vehicles, four PK machine guns, three RPG launchers, and three assault rifles from the killed elements.
CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
