‘Afrin Liberation Forces’ (Hêzên Rizgariya Efrînê) released a new statement claiming that the group conducted several operations against the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army in Afrin region. Full statement released by the group;
On 29 June, our forces detonated an explosive device targeting a military vehicle of the type (van) belonging to the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in the vicinity of the city of Mara’, where the death of a mercenary was confirmed and wounding three others.
On 02 July, our forces carried out two operations targeting the concentration points of soldiers of the Turkish occupation in the village of Mariamin in the area of Shera, where the two points were destroyed and two mercenaries were killed, including a Turkish soldier and another from Liwa al-Shamal, in addition to wounding two Turkish soldiers.
On 02 July, our forces ambushed the mercenaries (Liwa al-Shamal) of the Turkish occupation in the vicinity of the village of Kafr Khashr of the city of Azaz, where clashes broke out between our fighters and mercenaries, killing two mercenaries and wounding four others, in addition to damaging a military machinery.
In the meantime, a group of mercenaries tried to intervene in the clashes, where our forces detonated an explosive device at a military vehicle, which resulted in the injury of seven mercenaries, including serious cases, in addition to the destruction of the machinery.
On 02 July, our forces clashed with the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in the vicinity of the city of Mara, where it was not possible to know the number of casualties in the ranks of mercenaries.
Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army and the Syrian Democratic Forces clashed near the village of Al-Daghlabash as the latter attempted to infiltrate the locality. According to reports, two elements of the Free Syrian Army’s Firqat al-Hamza were killed and one was wounded, while Syrian Democratic Forces’ casualties from the encounter are unknown.
Syrian Democratic Forces shelled the cities of Marea and Azaz, while in response the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army shelled Al-Malikiyah and Maraanaz. Reports claimed that seven civilians were wounded by the Syrian Democratic Forces’ shelling.
Vehicle-borne improvised explosive device killed two and wounded eight civilians near Omar mosque in the city of Al-Bab. Similarly, a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device wounded 12 civilians in Qabasin, near Al-Bab.

Unknown gunmen wounded an element of the Syrian Democratic Forces near the village of Filastin in Tell Hamis region.
Improvised explosive device wounded an administration official of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Abu Mujahid al-Shami in the village of Tarmanin near Al-Dana. Similarly, an improvised explosive device wounded a Moroccan element of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in the village of Ayn al-Bayda in greater Jisr al-Shughur area.
Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir (National Liberation Front) shelled the villages of Al-Rusayf and Al-Aziziyah in greater Qalaat al-Madiq area. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, two civilians were killed by the shelling.
Afghan National Security Forces killed ten elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban), including the group’s governor of Andkhoy district, Mullah Raz Mohammed in Jat Kot village.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Security Forces’ post in Khwaja area of Saghar district. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News, 15 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed and five were wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized 11 motorcycles, 11 assault rifles, a PK machine gun, and an RPG launcher from the post.
Afghan National Security Forces killed seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Sar Hawza district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan reportedly captured Bahiri Killi area of Pur Chaman district from the Afghan National Security Forces. Ten elements of the Afghan National Security Forces and commander Ibrahim surrendered to the group in the aforementioned area.
