Military events/news are listed below by the governorates:

Aleppo:

Improvised explosive device wounded a commander of the Free Syrian Army in the city of Azaz in northern Aleppo.

Raqqa:

Improvised explosive device killed one and wounded one element of the Syrian Arab Army near Al-Sabkha in eastern Raqqa.

Hama:

Syrian Arab Army repelled attacks by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir (National Liberation Front) on Jalama and Kafr Houd in northern Hama.

Al-Suwayda:

Unknown gunmen kidnapped two officers of the Syrian Arab Army on a road near the city of Shahba, north of Al-Suwayda. The kidnapping is reportedly connected to the earlier detention of a political activist, Muhannad Shahab al-Deen by local forces. Reports claimed that Shahab al-Deen was detained on the orders from the Military Intelligence Directorate.

Afghanistan

Balkh Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Dawlat Abad district.

Maidan Wardak Province:

Two elements of the Afghan National Army defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Maidan Shar district.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 14 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tarinkot district.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed an Afghan National Security Forces heading towards Tarinkot in Kondalano area of Shah Wali Kot district. Eight elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed in the ambush.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
