Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army (Al-Jaysh al-Watani al-Suri (Syrian National Army)) reportedly halted its offensive on Tell Rifaat pocket in northern Aleppo. The offensive was reportedly halted by Turkey.
‘Afrin Liberation Forces’ (Hêzên Rizgariya Efrînê) released a new statement regarding yesterday’s engagements with the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army in northern Aleppo. Full statement released by the group;
The outcome of the clashes that took place between of the Afrin Liberation Forces and of the so-called al-Jaish al-Wantani (the National Army) on the axes of the villages of Maranaz, Shewargah and al-Malkiya is as follows:
On the axis of Maranaz, eight elements were killed and 12 members of al-Failaq al-Thaleth (3rd Crops) of Liwa al-Shamal and 5 elements of al-Jabha al-Shamiyya were wounded after targeting their positions in Meryamin village.
On the axis of al-Malkiya, a soldier of the Turkish occupation, 5 elements of al-Failaq al-Thaleth, 8 elements of Liwa al-Mutasm bellah, and 3 elements of al-Jaish al-Sharqiyya, the gang of Abo Khawla Kabres were killed.
On the axis of Meryamin, four Turkish elements were killed, including two officers and three others were wounded by an ambush of the Kurdish forces.
After these clashes and heavy losses in the ranks of the National Army, they withdrew from the axis of the attack and retreated to the back lines, as well as the withdrawal of a section to the village of Kafar Jannah, a section to Azaz, a section to Meryamin and a large section withdrew to the village of Kimar where a large gathering of the Turkish army and Firqet al-Hamzah is located.
The outcome of the clashes has reached 40 dead and 30 wounded so far.

Islamic State’s improvised explosive device wounded an element of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the village of Al-Shaher.
Syrian Arab Army’s artillery, the Syrian Arab Air Force, and the Russian Air Force targeted Tarmala, Kafr Nabl, Sotuh al-Deir, Al-Tamaneh, Al-Naqir, Khan Sheikhun, Hass, Al-Habit, Benin, Al-Bara, Saraja, Hazarin, Sheikh Mustafa, Arinbah, Umm Zaytouna, Deir Sunbul, Umm al-Sayir, Kafr Aweid, Maarat al-Seen, Al-Fatirah, Al-Kubayna, and Al-Kanda. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), eight civilians were killed and several dozen were wounded by the targeting.
Rebel factions shelled Al-Suqaylabiyah and Jib Ramleh in northern Hama. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, one civilian was killed by the shelling of Al-Suqaylabiyah.
Unknown gunmen assassinated a former commander of Jabhat al-Nusra, Ayyub al-Qamhan in front of his house in Muzayrib. Al-Qamhan reportedly joined the Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Division after signing a reconciliation agreement with the Syrian government.
Improvised explosive device targeted a bus carrying elements of the Syrian Arab Army on the road between Izraa and Bosra al-Harir. Reports claimed that five elements of the Syrian Arab Army were killed and several were wounded in the incident.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) launched a suicide attack, followed by a raid on a police headquarters in the city of Pul-e Khumri, capital of Baghlan Province. According to reports, 13 elements of the Afghan National Police were killed and around 35 were wounded, while eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were also killed in the encounter. Reports also stated that around 20 civilians were killed in the encounter.
Afghan National Security Forces killed five elements of the Islamic State in Achin district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Garmsir and Nahri Saraj districts.
Four elements of the Afghan National Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Marjah district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Security Forces’ post in Kalancheki area of Maywand district. Ten elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were reportedly killed in the encounter.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Security Forces’ armored personnel carrier in Khozo Oba Nawa area of Spin Boldak district.
