Syrian War Daily – 27th of April 2019

Hello and welcome to the 772nd installment of the SWD.

Military events/news are listed below by the governorates:

Aleppo:

Rebel forces in southern Aleppo shelled Al-Hader city. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, two civilians were killed and one was wounded by the shelling.

Improvised explosive device killed two and wounded three civilians in the village of Kafr Karmin in western Aleppo. Separately, an improvised explosive device killed one and wounded one civilian, as well as wounded two elements of the Free Syrian Army’s Suqour al-Jabal in the village of Taqad, also in western Aleppo.

Idlib:

Syrian Arab Army’s artillery shelled Tahtaya, Al-Habit and Kafr Nil in southern Idlib. Reports claimed that one civilian was reportedly killed and three were wounded by the shelling.

Unknown explosion wounded three civilians in Al-Dana in northern Idlib.

Unknown gunmen killed a former element of the Free Syrian Army’s Liwa al-Ummah near Al-Tamaneh in southern Idlib.

Daraa:

Unknown gunmen killed a former element of the Free Syrian Army’s Liwa al-Haramayn in Hayt. The element allegedly cooperated with Hezbollah after signing a reconciliation agreement with the Syrian government.

Afghanistan

Afghan Ministry of Defense didn’t release any reports regarding Afghan National Security Forces’ operations across the country.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
