‘Afrin Liberation Forces’ (Hêzên Rizgariya Efrînê) released a new statement claiming that the group conducted several operations against the Turkish Armed Forces and the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army in northern Aleppo. Full statement released by the group;
On April 19, one of our groups carried out a small and medium arms attack from two axes on the base of the concentration of the Turkish occupation soldiers in the village of Mariamin in the vicinity of Shara, where fierce clashes broke out between our forces and the occupation soldiers, a number of soldiers were killed and a tank intervened in the battle to support the soldiers where our fighters targeted it destroying it and killing soldiers who were inside it.
In the meantime, one of the Turkish bases supported their soldiers, where they were also targeted by our fighters with medium weapons. As a result of the attacks, clashes between our forces and Turkish occupation soldiers, consequently, at least four soldiers were killed and three others wounded.
At the same time, our fighters targeted an artillery base in the vicinity of Mariamin village, where it was completely destroyed and two Turkish soldiers were killed and four others wounded.
On April 19, our forces bombed a special base for the concentration of Turkish occupation soldiers in the area of Vilat al-Qadi in the vicinity of the city of Azaz, where the base was destroyed while we could not know the number of dead and wounded in the ranks of the occupation army.
On 19 April, a number of Turkish occupation soldiers targeted our forces with heavy weapons while trying to continue construction of a buffer wall in the vicinity of the village of Kimar in Sherawa district where the results of the operation were not known.
HRE carried out a series of operations which resulted in the destruction of a tank, two military bases of the Turkish occupation, including an artillery base, as well as killing at least six Turkish soldiers and wounding seven others, while the death and injuries toll in the ranks of the Turkish occupation army were not confirmed in two other operations.
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s Katibat Abu Omar Saraqib conducted an inghimasi (suicide fighters) raid against the positions of the Syrian Arab Army near Aqrab area, just west of Aleppo city. Reports claimed that 12 elements of the Syrian Arab Army were killed and 15 were wounded, while Hayat Tahrir al-Sham claimed that more than 30 elements were killed in the raid. Four elements of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham were also reported as killed in the encounter.
Unknown gunmen executed an element of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army’s Firqat al-Sultan Murad (Sultan Murad Division) on the road between Qabasin and Al-Shuwayha.

Improvised explosive device killed one and wounded two civilians on a road near the village of Al-Karama, east of Raqqa city.
Turkistan Islamic Party ambushed and killed five elements of the Syrian Arab Armed Forces near the village of Al-Saraya in northern Latakia.
Syrian Arab Army-affiliated Liwa al-Quds announced that its forces managed to free two battalions of around 500 elements besieged by the Islamic State near the village of Al-Kum in Al-Badia region. Islamic State’s Amaq Agency claimed that more than 20 elements of the Syrian Arab Army were killed and wounded in an ambush near Jabal al-Beshri.
Afghan Ministry of Defense didn’t release any reports regarding Afghan National Security Forces’ operations across the country.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) reportedly took control of Khwjahan area in Du Layna district, after the Afghan National Security Forces withdrew from the area.
Afghan Local Police’s element surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chino Killi area of Shah Joy district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed six elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Shahin Kala area of Arghistan district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed two elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Sra Sakhar area of Shah Wali Kot district.
