Military events/news are listed below by the governorates:

Raqqa:

Left over Islamic State’s improvised explosive device killed two civilians near Al-Istiqlal park in the city of Raqqa.

Idlib:

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham arrested a commander of Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir (National Liberation Front), Rahmou al-Abidin and his son, near Bab al-Hawa border crossing, as they were on their way towards Turkey. Al-Abidin was reportedly arrested because he was featured in a video saying that he challenges / dares Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani to enter the city of Maarat al-Numaan, during clashes between the two sides in the governorate in January of 2019.

Homs:

Syrian Arab Army released a former commander of the Free Syrian Army’s Jaysh al-Tawhid, Manhal al-Solluh, after he was arrested a week ago in the city of Talbiseh in northern Homs.

Deir al-Zour:

Vehicle-borne improvised explosive device targeted a Syrian Democratic Forces’ vehicle in the village of Dhubyan in eastern Deir al-Zour. According to reports, two elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces were killed and three were wounded by the explosion. Four civilians were also reportedly wounded in the incident.

Daraa:

Unknown gunmen wounded a former element of the Free Syrian Army in front of his house in Al-Balad district of Daraa city. The individual was transferred to a hospital in Damascus city.

Afghanistan

Badakhshan Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) ambushed and killed a commander of the Afghan Local Police, Abdul Hafiz between Arghanj Khwa and Baharak districts.

Logar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Charkh district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan reportedly repelled Afghan National Security Forces’ operations in Charkh district, killing five and wounding seven elements in the process.

Badghis Province:

Four elements of the Afghan National Security Forces defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Qadis and Sang Atish districts.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Andar and Qarabagh districts.

Urozgan Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed four elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Khas Urozgan district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Kajaki district.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Security Forces’ post in Band Taimore area of Maywand district. Seven elements of the Afghan National Security Forces and two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized a PK machine gun, an RPG launcher, and four assault rifles from the post.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
