‘Afrin Liberation Forces’ (Hêzên Rizgariya Efrînê) released a new statement claiming that the group conducted an operation against the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army in Afrin region. Full statement released by the group;
On February 24, one of our groups detonated an IED at one of the vehicles belonging to mercenaries affiliated to the Turkish occupation on the road leading to Qara Taba village near Afrin center, the vehicle was burnt, and the number of the killed and wounded of the mercenaries was not known.
On February 25, one of our groups carried out an operation against the mercenaries of the so-called “Elite Forces” at the entrance of the village of Nabi Hori related to Shera district in Afrin, and clashes broke out between our fighters and the mercenaries during which 4 mercenaries were killed.
On February 24, our forces released a statement about detonating an IED on Feb 23, which was carrying Hazat Division mercenaries on the road between Sherawa’s Birj Haider and Basofan villages, at that time, we announced that three mercenaries were heavily wounded, later they were confirmed to be dead due to their critical wounds.
Syrian Interim Government’s Prime Minister, Dr. Jawad Abu Hatab announced his resignation from his position in the government.
Unknown gunmen attempted to assassinate a commander of the Free Syrian Army’s Jaysh al-Izza, Abdul Basset al-Sarut with an improvised exposive device planted under his vehicle in front of his house in the city of Maarat al-Numaan. Al-Sarut was unharmed in the incident.
Syrian Democratic Forces’ Press Office released a statement announcing that the group managed to free 24 of its elements, during civilian evacuations from the Islamic State-held parts of Al-Baghouz. Full statement released by the press office;
Due to our commitment to the protection of civilian lives and our attempts to liberate our comrades who have been held as hostages, our forces have stopped the military operations in the small ISIS-held area in the town of Bagouz, thereby separating civilians from the remaining terrorists in order to rescue them.
In this context, our forces have managed to save a large number of civilians along with our comrades who have been held hostage by ISIS. Rescued civilians were provided with safe passage and transferred to elsewhere. 24 of our comrades, who had been kidnapped by terrorists months ago, have been rescued.

Libyan National Army reportedly entered and peacefully took over Al-Awaynat and Ghat areas near the border with Algeria.

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 16 and wounded 13 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban), as well as destroyed three motorcycles and seized several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Chimtal and Sholgara districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan took control of two Afghan National Security Forces’ military units in Kishindih district, reportedly killing five and wounding one element.
Sar-e Pol Province:
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 34 and wounded 18 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Sancharak district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Security Forces’ post in Sang Toda area of Sheiram district. One element of the Afghan National Security Forces was killed and four were wounded in the encounter.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 17, wounded five, and arrested four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two motorcycles and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Andar, Qarabagh, and Giro districts.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 18 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tarinkot distirct, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
Afghan National Security Forces killed eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Marjah and Jerashk districts.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed three elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Marjah district.
