Hello and welcome to the 648th installment of the SWD.

Military events/news are listed below by the governorates:

Raqqa:

Improvised explosive device wounded two elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces on a road near the village of Albu Hamad in eastern Raqqa.

Hama:

Syrian Arab Army’s artillery shelled Morek and Lahaya in northern Hama. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), three civilians were wounded by the shelling of Morek.

Afghanistan

Laghman Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) killed two and wounded two elements of the Afghan Local Police in an attack on a post in Alishang district.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Pachir Aw Agam district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed an element of the Afghan Local Police in Hisarak district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Pur Chaman and Bala Buluk districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored vehicle in Sanaghan Ghar area of Gulistan district.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Police’s element surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with his weapon in Khas Urozgan district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
