Military events/news are listed below by the governorates:

Aleppo:

Unknown gunmen killed a former commander of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Amin Obeid in the village of Al-Tawamah in western Aleppo.

Vehicle-borne improvised explosive device killed one and wounded four civilians in the city of Ziyadiya in northern Aleppo. Several reports claimed that the explosion targeted family members of a commander in the Free Syrian Army’s Firqat al-Sultan Murad (Sultan Murad Division).

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency stated that an element of the Syrian Democratic Forces was assassinated in the city of Manbij.

Raqqa:

Left over Islamic State’s improvised explosive device wounded a civilian in the village of Al-Ajaj in western Raqqa.

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency stated that two elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces were killed in Al-Haws village of Al-Karama subdistrict.

Hama:

Syrian Arab Army’s artillery shelling of Al-Lataminah reportedly killed two and wounded three elements of the Free Idlib Army. Separately, Syrian Arab Air Force reportedly wounded three elements of the Free Idlib Army during air raids over the village of Al-Hakoura in Al-Ghab Plain.

Deir al-Zour:

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency claimed that ten elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces were killed with two guided missiles in the village of Bahra Sharqi near Hajin city in eastern Deir al-Zour.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Andkhoy district.

Takhar Province:

Three elements of the Afghan National Police defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with their weapons in Khwaja Ghar district.

Kapisa Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and arrested four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nijrab district.

Badghis Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran four Afghan National Security Forces’ checkpoints in Qadis district. Five elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were wounded, while one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and two wounded in the encounters.

Herat Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Security Forces’ base in Chushma area of Shindand district. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News Agency, 14 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed and 23 wounded elements arrested and treated by the group. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized 12 PK machine guns, three RPG launchers, and large quantities of ammunition from the base. Three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were wounded in the clashes for the base.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed ten and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Qarabagh district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed ten elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed four motorcycles in Jerashk and Musa Qala districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed and wounded five elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Marjah district.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Police’s checkpoint in Ghangi area of Nesh district. Eight elements of the Afghan National Police were killed and three arrested in the encounter.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers reportedly killed six elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Mandozo and Kala Shamir areas of Maywand district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
