Military events/news are listed below by the governorates:


’Wrath of Olives Operation Room’ executed an element of the Free Syrian Army’s Firqat al-Hamza in Rajo subdistrict of Afrin. Full Statement by the ‘Wrath of Olives Operation Room’;

The special operations carried out by our fighters against the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in Afrin and the Syrian north, targeting all the mercenaries who participated in the occupation of Afrin, continue. This is only the first step in the comprehensive war and the liberation of Afrin.

In addition, our fighters detained the mercenary of Ferqet Al-Hamzah Ali al-Ahmad in Rajo area, where they interrogated him and then executed a fair sentence by killing him after he confessed to fighting the people of Afrin following the orders of the Turkish occupation from Hama city.

The operation that took place on 31/10/2018 in ​​Rajo area in retaliation for the martyrs of Afrin, confirms the presence of our fighters in all the lands of Afrin, where they will continue to carry out the operations, confirming the pledge to rid Afrin and its people of Turkish terrorism and its mercenaries.

Free Syrian Army’s Ahrar al-Sharqiya and Jaysh al-Islam clashed near Kawa roundabout in the city of Afrin. One element of Ahrara al-Sharqiya was killed and another wounded in the encounter. Cause of the clashes between the two is unknown, while it is reported that Ahrar al-Sharqiya’s Abu Iskandar and his group participated in the clashes. Ahrar al-Sharqiya and Jaysh al-Islam released a joint statement condemning the clashes and expressing their readiness to cooperate with the military police.

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency stated that an improvised explosive device killed a senior intelligence officer belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces in Al-Sabea Baharat area of Manbij city. However, Syrian Democratic Forces’ Manbij Military Council stated that an improvised explosive device targeted a civilian vehicle, killing one civilian in Manbij.

Unknown gunmen killed two and wounded one element of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in Al-Janoudiyah in northwestern Idlib.

Deir al-Zour:

Syrian Democratic Forces’ Media Center released a report regarding today’s encounters with the Islamic State in the governorate;

Violent clashes broke out between our fighters and IS in Hajin axis, following an attack on the positions of our fighters, who were able to repel the attack and responded to the attacks and inflicted them heavy losses in equipment and number.

The International Coalition aircraft also carried out several raids on the sites and fortifications of terrorists, killing a number of them as well as destroying the headquarters and tunnels used in camouflage and attacks and a booby trap prepared to be detonated.

On another axis, the terrorists tried to reach the points of concentration of our fighters using heavy weapons and booby-trapped vehicles, but our fighters confronted them and inflicted them number of deaths and the others fled.

The coalition aircraft launched several raids on terrorist positions, destroying tunnels and cutting off their supply routes, as well as several headquarters.”

In the final outcome of the clashes today, the media center said that the battles resulted in: killing 49 mercenaries, destroying 8 buildings where the terrorists were holed up, closing two roads used by mercenaries, and detonating three tunnels. Besides, 10 defensive posts, a booby trap and mortar pad were destroyed. International Coalition forces also launched 27 air strikes.


Improvised explosive device wounded three civilians in the village of Deir al-Adas in northern Daraa. The explosion occurred in the vicinity of a school and a Syrian Arab Army’s checkpoint.


Islamic State’s Amaq Agency stated that a sniper killed two elements of the Syrian Arab Army in Tell al-Safa area in eastern Al-Suwayda.


Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) repelled an Afghan National Security Forces’ offensive in Sang Zard area of Pashtun Kot district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News stated that ten elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed and five wounded in the encounter. Two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were also wounded in the encounter.

Baghlan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed three, wounded two, and arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed 28 improvised explosive devices and cleared several villages in Pol-e Khomri district.

Laghman Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Alishang district.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Deh Bala (Haska Meyna), Achin, and Bihsud districts.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier, killing eight elements, including a commander in Spin Ghbargi area of Qalat district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nad Ali and Marjah districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed four elements of the Afghan National Army in Sangin and Jerashk districts.
