Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) Media Center stated that three elements of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army were killed in two operations conducted by the group in Afrin region. Full statement by the Media Center;
Within the scope of the second phase of the Resistance of the Age in occupied Afrin, our forces continue to carry out military operations against the invader Turkish army and its mercenary allies. On 11 and 12 of October, our units carried out two successful actions, one in the Khezawiye village near Afrin city and another in the Nebi Houri castle area, in Afrin’s Shera district. Details are as follows:
1.On October 11th, our unit carried out a sniper action targeting an official in charge of the checkpoint set up by the invader Turkish army and its mercenaries in the Khezawiye village, located near to Afrin city. As a result, a terrorist of the Sham Legion (Faylaq al-Sham) named Maher Ibrahim, originally from Idlib, was killed.
2.On October 12th, one of our units ambushed the mercenaries of the Hamza Division in the Nebi Houri castle area of Afrin’s Shera district. As a result, two terrorists were killed. They were identified as Mohammed Alawi from Homs and Abeed Ahmed from Idlib.

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham reportedly arrested the director of Ataa Humanitarian Relief Organization / Society’s Atimah branch, Saddam al-Muhammad on unknown charges in northern Idlib.
Rebel security forces foiled a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device attack in the city of Maarat Misrin, by killing the attacker before he managed to activate the device. Security forces dismantled the improvised explosive device after killing the attacker.
Islamic State’s Amaq Agency stated that the group ambushed Syrian Democratic Forces’ elements near the city of Dhubyan in eastern Deir al-Zour. According to the agency, two elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces were killed and one wounded in the ambush.
Left over rebel improvised explosive device killed a civilian in the city of Al-Ghariya al-Sharqiya, northeast of Daraa.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 17 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Qarqin district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed three and wounded four elements of the Afghan National Police in Chimtal district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News claimed that the group cleared Dara-e Souf district from the Afghan National Security Forces’ presence.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted an Afghan National Army’s vehicle, wounding three soldiers in the city of Mihtarlam, capital of Laghman Province.
Maidan Wardak Province:
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s post in Chaki Wardak district, reportedly killing two soldiers in the process.
Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded one element of the Haqqani Network in Gurbuz district.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 20 and wounded 16 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two vehicles and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Rashidan, Deh Yak, Qarabagh, Muqur, Andar, and Khogyani districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.
Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 19 and wounded 12 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shinkay district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nad Ali district.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices targeted an Afghan National Security Forces’ convoy arriving in Camp area of Marjah district, reportedly destroying three armored personnel carriers and two vehicles. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News stated that 16 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were also killed and wounded in the encounter.
