Military events/news are listed below by the governorates:

Idlib:

Unknown gunmen attempted to assassinate a Jaysh al-Ahrar’s commander, Hakim Abu Munir with an improvised explosive device in the city of Saraqib. The incident occurred in Tell al-Ruman neighborhood in eastern Saraqib, while Abu Munir was lightly wounded.

Ahrar al-Sham conducted a raid looking for a wanted individual in the village of Al-Tah. One civilian was reportedly killed as Ahrar al-Sham opened fire during the raid.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Qaysar district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed one and wounded three elements of the Afghan National Army in Shirin Tagab district.

Balkh Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chahar Bolak district.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two elements of the Islamic State in Achin district.

Badghis Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed three elements of the Afghan National Army in Haji Jang Agha and Sar Khalang areas of Murghab district.

Herat Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed two vehicles in Adraskan district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed two vehicles in Khaki Safed district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored vehicles in Saj Kala area of Pusht Rod district.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tarinkot district.

Zabul Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shah Joy district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed two and wounded one element of the Afghan National Security Forces in Zanzir and Sharang areas of Mizan district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Security Forces’ armored personnel carrier in Pul Sangi area of Qalat district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Jerashk district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed an element of the Afghan National Army in the 4th Police District of Lashkar Gah city, capital of Helmand Province.
