Unknown explosion targeted a fuel shop in the eastern part of Azaz city, reportedly killing four and wounding 27 civilians.
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir (National Liberation Front) reached an agreement, ending clashes between the two in western Aleppo. According to the agreement, both sides will withdraw military hardware and release detainees. The agreement was signed by Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir’s Hassan Soufan and by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s Mazhar Al-Wais.

Unknown gunmen wounded two elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces at a checkpoint near the village of Al-Salhabiya al-Gharbiya, west of Raqqa. One of the gunmen was also wounded in the encounter.
Jaysh al-Ahrar conducted a special operation against the Islamic State’s sleeper cells near the village of Ayn Shib, freeing five of its elements. The five elements were kidnapped by elements belonging to the Islamic State on 26th of September, after they stopped at Tayyar checkpoint near Al-Qarmid camp on the road between Ariha and Al-Mastouma.
Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets) found a body of a Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s element near the city of Kafr Amim, east of Idlib.
Improvised explosive device killed one and wounded at least 18 civilians in the village of Khasfin, north of Hama.
Syrian Democratic Forces’ Media Center released a report regarding today’s advances and encounters with the Islamic State in the governorate;
1-Al-Bagouz axis: Very violent engagements broke out in this axis between our fighters and Daesh”, terrorists, following an attack by our fighters on the positions and Fortifications of terrorist Daesh organization at the front points, as a result number of them were killed and made an advance in a large distance in areas that were controlled by terrorists, to install a number of points.
The terrorists tried to strike their ranks and launch a counter-attack, but our fighters fought back and killed a number of terrorists in their ranks.
This axis is now witnessing intermittent engagements, interspersed with mutual shelling with mortars and artillery.
2- Hajin axis: This axis also witnessed strong engagements between our fighters and terrorists, in which all types of heavy weapons were used, in the context of heavy shelling by mortars by terrorists on the positions of our forces, but did not cause any damage.
After sporadic engagements, our fighters launched a violent attack on the terrorists’ site, killing a number of them. Terrorists tried to infiltrate through the tunnels and trenches they dug in the area, but all their attempts failed in the face of the strength and steadfastness of our fighters.
The coalition also bombed several sites and terrorist groups in the area, killing a number of them and destroying the headquarters they were holed up. The coalition also launched a missile targeting a large terrorist site, but it was not possible to know the number of their deaths and losses.
3 – Outcome of the engagements:
– The number of death of terrorists: (20) terrorists, 10 bodies of them were by the hands of our fighters.

Improvised explosive device killed one and wounded three civilians in Sayidi Miqdad, south of Damascus.
Afghan National Security Forces killed eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) and destroyed a fighting position in Qaysar district.
Two improvised explosive devices killed two and wounded nine individuals in the 12th Security District of Kabul city. Among the nine wounded individuals are six elements of the Afghan National Police.
Afghan National Security Forces killed four elements of the Islamic State in Khogyani district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s convoy, destroying an armored vehicle and wounding two elements in Ab Bakhash area of Qadis district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed nine and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Andar district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed 16 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed two fighting positions in Khaki Safed and Bakwa districts.
Afghan National Security Forces killed nine and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed four bases in Khas Urozgan and Tarinkot districts.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier, killing one and wounding two soldiers in Chato area of Deh Rawud district.
Afghan National Security Forces killed 11 and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Marjah and Lashkar Gah districts.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan Local Police’s armored personnel carrier, killing six elements in Alizo Charrahi area of Marjah district.
United States’ Department of Defense announced that one of the United States Armed Forces’ elements was killed by an improvised explosive device in Helmand province. Full news release by the Department of Defense;
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operations Resolute Support and Freedom’s Sentinel.
Spc. James A. Slape, 23, from Morehead City, North Carolina, died Oct. 4, 2018, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, as a result of wounds sustained from an improvised explosive device. The incident is under investigation.
Slape was assigned to 60th Troop Command, North Carolina Army National Guard, Washington, North Carolina.
