Aleppo:

Unknown gunmen killed four elements of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, during an attack on the latter’s position in Al-Kastelo (Castelo) area near Aleppo city.

Idlib:

Unknown gunmen killed an element of Ansar al-Tawhid in the city of Sarmin.

Improvised explosive device wounded a civilian in the city of Saraqib in eastern Idlib. The incident occurred as the improvised explosive device was targeting a nearby Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s vehicle.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies reportedly made additional limited advances against the Islamic State in Tell al-Safa region. Syrian Arab News Agency released a report regarding the event;

Army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces, on Monday stormed more rocky cliffs in the rugged land of Toloul al-Safa area overlooking Daesh (ISIS) terrorists’ last stronghold, achieving a significant advance.

SANA reporter in Sweida said that army units clashed with the terrorists in the northwestern, western, and southwestern frontlines, advancing further in the rough terrain, clarifying that dozens of the terrorists were either killed or injured including snipers, as their weapons were destroyed at the surroundings of Qabr al-Sheikh.

He added that artillery fire and airstrikes accompanied the operation, targeting fortifications of the terrorists.

Afghanistan

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 15 elements of the Islamic State and two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Khogyani district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device killed two and wounded several elements of the Afghan Local Police in Pachir Aw Agam district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Andar district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed two and wounded one element of the Afghan National Army in Andar district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Pusht Rod district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed Afghan National Security Forces’ elements arriving in Taing area of Pusht Rod district, reportedly killing ten and wounding eight elements, as well as destroying two vehicles.

Afghan National Army’s commander, Muhammad Ayoub and nine other elements of the army defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Farah Rod district.

Urozgan Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed three and wounded two elements of the Afghan National Army, as well as destroyed two armored vehicles in Tarinkot district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 20 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nad Ali, Nawzad, and Lashkar Gah districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed Afghan National Army’s commander Sadiq in the 10th Police District of Kandahar city.

CJTF-OIR:

Between 24th and 30th of September 2018 CJTF-OIR has conducted 54 strikes in Syria. CJTF-OIR‘s main focus in Syria at the moment is Deir al-Zour-Albu Kamal region where they did 54 strikes supporting SDF‘s operations against IS destroying five weapons caches, one fighting structure, 11 fighting positions, five IED belts, one tunnel, two compounds, two vehicle-borne IEDs, six command and control centers, two vehicles, ten supply routes, one mortar, one truck, and one up-armored vehicle.
