Aleppo:

Vehicle-borne improvised explosive device wounded two civilians near Al-Bushi mosque in the city of Al-Bab, north of Aleppo.

Unknown gunmen killed a commander of Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir’s (National Liberation Front) Harakat Nour al-Deen al-Zenki, Muhammad Ahmad al-Khatib and another individual accompanying him near the city of Al-Atarib in western Aleppo.

Al-Hasakah:

Left over Islamic State’s improvised explosive device killed two civilians near the city of Markada in southern Al-Hasakah.

Idlib:

Unknown gunmen, presumably belonging to the Islamic State kidnapped five elements of Jaysh al-Ahrar on the road between Ariha and Al-Mastouma. The incident occurred after the elements stopped at Tayyar checkpoint near Al-Qarmid camp on the road.

Hama:

Improvised explosive device wounded a civilian near the village of Khunayfis in eastern Hama.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) killed one and wounded three elements of the Afghan Local Police in Arkalik area of Qaysar district. Two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were wounded in the encounter.

Afghan Local Police’s element surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with his weapon in Chichakto area of Qaysar district.

Jowzjan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed ten and wounded six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Faizabad district.

Balkh Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven and wounded five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Dawlat Abad district.

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed nine and wounded nine elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chardara and Archi (Dasht-e Archi) districts.

Kunar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 14 elements of the Islamic State in Dara-I-Pech and Sawkai districts.

Laghman Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four and wounded six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Alingar district.

Herat Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed five and arrested one element of the Afghan National Army in Shindand district.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and wounded two elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Amand area of Qalat district.

Helmand Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed four elements of the Afghan National Army in Shawal Manda area of Nad Ali district.

Kandahar Province:

Several Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices targeted an Afghan National Security Forces’ convoy, destroying four vehicles in Sara Baghal area of Maywand district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
