Aleppo:

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) Media Center claimed that six elements of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army were killed in several operations conducted by the group in Afrin region. Full statement by the Media Center;

Within the scope of the Resistance of the Age, our units carried out a series of military operations against Turkish invasion army and its mercenaries in Afrin throughout the third week of September. As result of the operations in Afrin city center, vicinity of Shera and Bilbil districts, 6 mercenaries were killed and many others injured.

On September 18, our units targeted a military vehicle with landmine. The operation targeting 5 elements of the mercenary group called “Sharia Court”, who’d come to the area to abduct a civilian from village of Kharab Shera, resulted in death of 2 elements while 3 of them were heavily injured.

On September 19, our forces targeted terrorists of Failaq al-Sham group in Bilbil’s Hayamah village. Two mercenaries that were killed in the action identified as:

1- Usain al-Abood, Idlib

2- Omar al-Kalo, Idlib

In another operation carried out on September 20, our units targeted a military vehicle of Firqat al-Hamza group with hand grenades near al-Zadiyyah cemetery in Afrin city center. Two mercenaries that were killed in the action were identified as:

1- Ahmad al-Iwaid, Raqqa

2- Abd al-Fatah Shobak, Idlib

On September 22, Turkish invasion army and its mercenaries launched a large operation in vicinity of Afrin’s Bilbil district with participation of several UAV’s. Operation forces withdrew shortly after the operation had begun without achieving any of goals.

With the successful operations in the past week, the number of deaths of Turkish invasion army and its mercenaries has risen to 2485.

Raqqa:

Unknown gunmen killed an element of the Syrian Democratic Forces on a road near Al-Mahuki village, west of Raqqa city.

Idlib:

Improvised explosive device killed a civilian near a Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s checkpoint in the city of Saraqib.

Deir al-Zour:

Syrian Democratic Forces fully captured the village of Al-Shajalah (Al-Shajil) from the Islamic State. Syrian Democratic Forces’ Media Center released a report regarding the event;

After violent battles fought by SDF for three days, they managed to liberate Shajla village and expel the terrorist’s organization (Daesh) from it, this morning after the killing of many terrorists and the control of quantities of weapons and ammunition. Military engineering teams combed the village and dismantled the mines.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies made advances against the Islamic State in Ard Qaa al-Banat area and established fire control over Qabar al-Sheikh Hasan area in Tell al-Safa region. Syrian Arab News Agency released a report regarding the event;

Units of Syrian Arab Army restored control over large strategic areas in the rocky cliffs of al-Safa hills area in the depth of Sweida Badyia (desert).

SANA’s reporter said that army units regained fire control over the area of Qabar al-Sheikh Hasan from the western, northwestern and southwestern sides of al-Safa hills in parallel with restoring a number of areas in Ard Qa’a al-Banat area after fierce clashes with Daesh (ISIS) terrorists.

Scores of Daesh terrorists were killed due to the army’s tactical operation in the area, according to the reporter.

The reporter added that army units continued chasing Daesh in the area of al-Safa hills and tightening noose on their remnants.

Islamic State killed a commander of Jaysh al-Tahrir al-Filastini (Palestine Liberation Army), Brigadier General Walid Mari al-Kurdi during clashes in Tell al-Safa area. Al-Kurdi was reportedly commander of Al-Katibat 412 Saeqa.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Qaysar district.

Kunduz Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed a group of Afghan National Police’s elements, killing three and destroying a vehicle in Khan Abad district.

Kabul Province:

Five elements of the Afghan Local Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khaki Jabbar district.

Paktia Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed a vehicle in Zurmat district.

Khost Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nadir Shah Kot district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Andar and Qarabagh districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed a group of Afghan National Army’s elements, killing two and wounding one in Ghazni district.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s vehicle, killing and wounding five soldiers in Peshie Band area of Shinkay district.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded nine elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Maywand district.

Several Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices targeted an Afghan National Army’s convoy in Kal Shamir area of Maywand district. The explosions reportedly destroyed two armored personnel carriers and a pickup.

CJTF-OIR:
