Aleppo:

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) Media Center stated that two elements of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army were killed in an operation conducted by the group in Afrin region. Full statement by the Media Center;

Within the scope of the second phase of the Resistance of the Age in occupied Afrin, our forces carried out a successful action against the Sultan Murad Division mercenaries.

On September 6th, our forces set up an ambush on the road between the Der Sewan and Shekhurze villages of Afrin´s Shera district, targeting two Sultan Murad Division´s mercenaries. As a result of action, both mercenaries were killed and two AK-47 were confiscated.

Idlib:

Russian Air Force conducted air raids over Al-Habit, Khan Sheikhoun, and Talas in southern Idlib. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), four civilians were killed and seven wounded by the raids over the aforementioned localities. Furthermore, two elements of the Syrian Civil Defense were wounded by the targeting of Khan Sheikhoun.

Hama:

Rebel factions shelled Mahardah in northern Hama, reportedly killing nine and wounding 20 civilians, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies made further advances against the Islamic State on Ard Qaa al-Banat front in Tell al-Safa area, eastern Al-Suwayda. Syrian Arab News Agency released a report regarding the event;

Syrian Arab Army advanced in al-Safa hills in eastern countryside of Sweida, tightening grip on Daesh (ISIS) terrorists.

SANA’s reporter said that the army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces, advanced in Qa’a al-Banat area about 1 km to the northwest of al-Safa hills after heavy clashes with Daesh.

Due to the clashes, Daesh have suffered heavy losses upon their ranks and equipment.

On the western direction, the army units advanced in the area of the rocky cliffs on the outskirts of al-Safa hills and engaged in fierce clashes with Daesh which resulted in the killing and injured of many of its terrorists.

Afghanistan

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Archi (Dasht-e Archi) district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed two and wounded three elements of the Afghan National Security Forces, as well as destroyed two vehicles in Ali Abad district.

Takhar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an Afghan Local Police’s post in Khwaja Ghar district, reportedly killing nine elements of the police in the encounter. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was also wounded in the clashes. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized six assault rifles and a PK machine gun from the post.

Kabul Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 12, wounded five, and arrested 14 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khaki Jabbar district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted an Afghan National Army’s vehicle in the city of Kabul, killing and wounding eight soldiers.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle and two motorcycles in Andar and Qarabagh district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Pur Chaman and Qala-I-Kah districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Police’s post in Nawi Pul area of Farah district. Afghan National Police’s commander, Abdul Samad and four other elements of the police were killed, while additional four elements were arrested in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized a PK machine gun, an RPG launcher, and ten assault rifles from the post.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier, killing and wounding six soldiers in Sokhta Dukano area of Shahr-e Safa district.

Three elements of the Afghan National Security Forces surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Zanzir area of Shamulzayi district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one, wounded one, and arrested one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Nad Ali, Sangin, and Nahri Saraj districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s post in Tangano Gudar area of Nawa-I-Barakzayi district. Four elements of the Afghan National Army were killed, while three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized four assault rifles from the killed elements.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed six elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Chah Injir and Parchawi areas of Nad Ali district.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 21, wounded five, and arrested seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Maywand and Shah Wali Kot districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device killed one and wounded one element of the Afghan National Army in Mandikak area of Khakrez district.

CJTF-OIR:
