Aleppo:

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) Media Center stated that two elements of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army were killed in an operation conducted by the group in Afrin region. Full statement by the Media Center;

Within the framework of the second stage of the Resistance of the Age in Afrin area, our units carried out a qualitative operation targeting the mercenaries of al-Jabha al-Shami in Shera district.

On September 5, our fighters ambushed a military vehicle that was carrying four elements of the al-Jabha al-Shami mercenaries, including an official responsible for looting and thieving the civilians’ properties in Dikamdush village of Shera as they were intending to sell the olives harvest that belong to the people. The operation resulted in killing two mercenaries, wounding the two others seriously and destroying the vehicle.

The names of the elements killed and wounded in the operation are Hussein Alittu from Tel Rifat, Mazen Gawish from al-Sham, Omer Keno from Azaz, and the official responsible for the looting group Abdel Rahman al-Jader from Jarabulus.

Latakia:

Abu Amara Special Task Brigade stated that its improvised explosive device targeted a convoy of Al-Mouqawamat al-Suriya (Syrian Resistance) near Salnafa area. The explosion reportedly killed one and wounded three individuals, including the leader of the ‘Syrian Resistance’, Mihraç Ural. Syrian Resistance is an armed group loyal to the Syrian government, formerly known as Al-Jabhat al-Shaebiat li-Tahrir Liwa Iskandarun.

Idlib:

Syrian Arab Army’s artillery targeted Al-Tah, Al-Baraisa, Al-Khuwayn and several other localities in the governorate. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), one civilian was killed and several wounded by the targeting. Separately, the Russian Air Force conducted raids over Al-Tamaneh, reportedly damaging the headquarters of the Syrian Civil Defense.

Improvised explosive device killed one and wounded one civilian in the city of Sarmin.

Hama:

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, in coordination with the Syrian Salvation Government arrested the head of Morek’s local council, Ziad Nadaf.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies advanced against the Islamic State on Ard Qaa al-Banat front in Tell al-Safa area, eastern Al-Suwayda. Syrian Arab News Agency released a report regarding the event;

Army units achieved a new advancement in hunting down Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in al-Safa hills in the depth of Sweida eastern Badyia (desert).

SANA reporter in Sweida said that army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces, engaged in violent clashes with Daesh terrorists in Ard Qa’a al-Banat to the northwest of al-Safa hills as they advanced over an area of 2 km, tightening the noose over the remnants of terrorists and cutting their supply routes.

The reporter indicated that scores of terrorists were killed in the clashes and the army established fire control over the rest of water resources of Daesh terrorists amid rapid collapses among their ranks

SANA reporter indicated that army units continued to hunt down the remnants of, Daesh terrorists who fled away towards the depth of the area, using suitable weapons.

Meanwhile, the army artillery and air force destroyed fortified positions and barricades belonging to terrorists in the depth of the area, killing all terrorists inside them.

Afghanistan

Badakhshan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Argu district.

Badghis Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s post near Ab Kamari district’s center. Reports suggest that 11 elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and six wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized a PK machine gun, an RPG launcher, and six assault rifles from the killed elements.

Herat Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chasht-e Sharif district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s vehicle, killing five and wounding four elements in Shahr Naw area of Herat city.

Ghor Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assassinated Shahrak district’s police chief, Zeyaulhaq Khushnod in Qaro area of Shahrak district. Besides Khushnod, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed additional three elements and seized 11 vehicles.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 15 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed two vehicles in Qarabagh district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Tarinkot district.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed three elements of the Afghan National Army, as well as destroyed an armored personnel carrier and a pickup in Hazartak area of Qalat district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed ten elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and defused 13 improvised explosive devices in Nad Ali district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan reportedly killed and wounded 13 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces, as well as destroyed an armored personnel carrier in Chah Injir area of Nad Ali district.
