Aleppo:

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) Media Center stated that 15 elements of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army were killed in operations conducted by the group in Afrin region. Full statement by the Media Center;

Within the second phase of the Resistance of the Age in occupied Afrin, a series of operations conducted by our forces killed a number mercenary allies of Turkish invasion army. The details concerning the actions that had been carried out at Afrin city center, its surroundings and the countryside of Afrin’s Sherawa district are as follows:

1. On Monday, September 3rd, our forces conducted an operation against the military base of the Levant Front (Jabhat al-Shamiya) situated in Khalta village, near to the city of Afrin. As a result of fight at close range that continued during long time, the mercenary base was completely destroyed. Six mercenaries were killed, while the number of wounded could not be clarified.

2. On that same night, our forces set up an ambush on the round leading to Tirinde village, situated in the Afrin city surroundings. The operation targeted the military vehicle belonging to the al-Sham Front mercenary fraction that arrived in the area for reinforcement purposes. As a result of this action, the vehicle had been destroyed, while 5 mercenaries, including a commander, were killed.

3. At the same time, our units targeted another military vehicle on the road between Gobele and Basile villages in the Afrin’s Sherawa district. As result of the operation 4 mercenaries were killed.

As a result of these actions, 15 mercenaries, including the 23rd Division’s commander Ahmed Semir Brier, were killed and dozens of others were wounded. In the aftermath of our operations, intensified movement of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) of the Turkish invasion army had been observed in the area. Also, the Turkish invasion army was firing around in a disorderly way.

Our units have safely reached their bases after conducting the operations.

Raqqa:

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency stated that two elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces were killed in Al-Fardous and Al-Dareiyah neighborhoods of Raqqa city.

Improvised explosive device targeted a Syrian Democratic Forces’ vehicle near Al-Karama in eastern Raqqa. Reports suggest that one element of the Syrian Democratic Forces was killed and one wounded in the incident.

Tartus:

Israeli Air Force launched around a dozen of missiles from the Lebanese airspace targeting Wadi al-Ayoun near Masyaf (in Hama governorate) and Harf Banamra near Baniyas. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, the Syrian air defenses downed five missiles, while the remaining missiles struck the aforementioned localities, killing one and wounding 12 individuals, also according to the agency. A military source said on Tuesday that the army air defenses intercepted an Israeli aggression with warplanes that infiltrated on a low altitude from west of Beirut into the north targeting a number of military sites in tartous and Hama.

The source added that the army air defenses downed a number of the hostile missiles and forced the attacking warplanes to flee.

Meanwhile, Director of Misyaf National hospital told SANA that the hospital received the body of one martyr and four wounded persons due to the Israeli aggression.

Likewise, Director of Banyas national hospital said that hospital received 8 wounded citizens due to the aggression.

Earlier, SANA reporter said that the Syrian Air defenses downed five of the Israeli missiles.

Idlib:

Russian Air Force conducted air raids over Al-Janoudiyah, Anab, Jisr al-Shughur, Ghani, Al-Badriya, Jidraya, Mafraq al-Shaghar, Al-Sahan, Al-Sararif, Harsh Besnaqul, and Mohambel. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), at least 11 civilians were killed and more than 23 wounded by the air raids.

Improvised explosive device wounded two civilians at the southern entrance to the city of Jisr al-Shughur. Separately, an improvised explosive device wounded a civilian near Al-Fatah mosque in Ariha.

Daraa:

‘Air Force Intelligence Directorate’ reportedly arrested the former commander of the Free Syrian Army’s Liwa Shuhada al-Mansour, Ayham al-Jahmani (Abu Abdullah) in Nawa. Al-Jahmani was arrested on unknown charges, after choosing to reconcile with the Syrian government earlier this year.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) overran two Afghan National Army’s posts in Meadan area of Dawlat Abad district. Afghan National Army’s commander Abdul Shakur and two other elements of the army were killed, while three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were wounded in the encounters.

Baghlan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six, wounded 11, and arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nahrin district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed three and wounded six elements of the Afghan National Army, as well as destroyed two armored vehicles in Nahrin district.

Kunar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five, wounded two, and arrested 22 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as seized a vehicle in the province.

Nangarhar Province:

Islamic State’s improvised explosive device killed one and wounded one element of the Afghan Local Police in Bandar area of Achin district.

Logar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed six elements of the Afghan Local Police in Mohammad Agha. Separately, an element of the Afghan Local Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with his weapon in Mohammad Agha district.

Paktia Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News stated that 16 elements of the Afghan National Army defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Zurmat district.

Badghis Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s base and a checkpoint in Dalamn area of Qala i Naw district. Ten elements of the Afghan National Army were reportedly killed and ten wounded, while one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and two wounded in the encounters. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an armored vehicle, a DShK heavy machine gun, three PK machine guns, two RPG launchers, two snipers rifles, 11 assault rifles, and six pistols from the captured base and checkpoint.

Ghazni Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed two and wounded two elements of the Afghan Local Police in Muqur district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nad Ali district.
