Idlib:

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham arrested the general director of the Islamic State’s cells in Idlib, Abu Dawoud al-Iraqi and his deputy, who is known as Al-Shayeb in the city of Sarmada. Hayat Tahrir al-Sham also seized various weapons, ammunition, and other equipment in the operation.

Improvised explosive device targeted a Hurras al-Deen’s vehicle in the city of Sarmin, wounding Hakim Jazrawi and his son. Jazrawi was previously the head of Jund al-Aqsa’s court, while his current position at Hurras al-Deen is unknown.

Hama:

Syrian Arab Army’s artillery targeted Turkistan Islamic Party’s positions at the outskirts of Al-Ziyara, reportedly destroying several bases, as well as killing and wounding a number of elements, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency.

Daraa:

Syrian Arab Army arrested ten individuals suspected of belonging to the Islamic State in Atman, north of Daraa.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban), as well as destroyed three vehicles in Ghormach district.

Balkh Province:

Afghan National Security Forces arrested five individuals suspected of belonging to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Dawlat Abad district.

Ghor Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran two Afghan National Army’s posts in Saghar district. Three elements of the Afghan National Army were killed in the encounters.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News stated that 50 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces under the leadership of commander Muhammad Nasim Kahzsd surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Dawlat Yar district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 35 and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two camps in Nawa and Ghazni districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven and wounded five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as seized eight weapons depots in Chora and Khas Urozgan districts.

Zabul Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight and wounded 13 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shah Joy district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and defused seven improvised explosive devices in Nawzad and Nad Ali districts.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and defused seven improvised explosive devices in Maywand district.

Two Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices targeted a group of Afghan National Police’s elements near the 14th Police District of Kandahar city. According to the reports, 13 elements of the Afghan National Police were killed and wounded, as well as a vehicle destroyed by the explosions.

CJTF-OIR:

Between the 27th of August and the 2nd of September 2018 CJTF-OIR has conducted 27 strikes in Syria. CJTF-OIR‘s main focus in Syria at the moment is Deir al-Zour-Albu Kamal region where they did 27 strikes supporting SDF‘s operations against IS destroying 18 IS supply routes, 33 IS vehicles, an IS mortar system, an IS heavy machine gun, an IS command and control center, and an IS logistics hub.
