Aleppo:

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham arrested an Islamic State’s cell in western Aleppo. The cell consisted of seven elements and is being accused of conducting several assassinations, including the assassination of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s commander, Abu Ahmed Shrokh.

Idlib:

Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir (National Liberation Front) conducted security operations in Al-Brisa, Tell al-Shih, Al-Halba, Deir al-Sharqi, and Al-Meisrouna, targeting individuals who promote reconciliation with the Syrian government. According to the reports, Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir arrested more than 30 individuals during the operations.

Hama:

Syrian Arab Army’s artillery shelled Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s positions in Al-Lataminah, Al-Jaisat, Al-Janaberah, Hasraya, and Kafr Zita in northern Hama. Similarly, the army’s artillery also shelled joint positions of the Turkistan Islamic Party and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in Al-Zyara and Al-Mshiek in Al-Ghab Plain.

Damascus:

Left over rebel improvised explosive device wounded five civilians in Al-Sikka area of Qudsaya city, west of Damascus.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies captured Qabir Eid Hneish and Baraket Hawa Awad areas near Tell al-Safa in eastern Al-Suwayda from the Islamic State. Syrian Arab News Agency released a statement regarding the event;

Syrian Arab Army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces, established control over the area of Qabir Eid Hneish and Baraket Hawa Awad in the depth of Sweida eastern Badyia (desert) in the framework of the continued operations against the remaining Daesh (ISIS) hotbeds in al-Safa hills.

SANA reporter in Sweida said that army units operating in the direction of Abu Ghanem hill established control over the area of Qabir Eid Hneish on the outskirts of al-Safa hills in the depth of Badyia after violent clashes with Daesh terrorists as a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured, in addition to destroying one of their machinegun-equipped vehicles.

The reporter added that army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces, continued to advance towards Qabir al-Sheikh Hussein and Um Marzakh, and they established control over a wide area of the rocky slopes.

The reporter indicated that army units carried out bombardments against a Daesh command position and one of their gatherings in the area between Khirbet al-Hawi and Um Marzakh, killing scores of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their arms and ammunition.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 33, wounded 17, and arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban), as well as destroyed four vehicles, five motorcycles, and a fighting position in Kohistan and Gurziwan districts.

Kabul Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khaki Jabbar district.

National Directorate of Security arrested four elements of the Islamic State in the 5th district of Kabul city. The security forces also discovered one of the group’s hideouts in Qargha area of Kabul city.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven elements of the Islamic State in Khogyani district.

Ghor Province:

Two elements of the Afghan National Army surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with their weapons in Feroz Koh area of Ghalmin district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 29 and wounded five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two motorcycles in Qarabagh, Muqur, Andar, and Khogyani districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Urozgan Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed 14 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces and destroyed two armored vehicles in Paye Nawa area of Tarinkot district, according to Al-Emarah News.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four, wounded two, and arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle and several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Nad Ali, Jerashk, and Lashkar Gah districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assassinated the former Afghan National Police’s chief of Nad Ali, Marjah, and Garmsir districts, Shadi Khan in Shahid Ghaltan area of Lashkar Gah city.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed an Afghan National Army’s foot patrol, killing and wounding three soldiers in Yaklang area of Nahri Saraj district. Separately, an Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier in Nari Manda area of Nad Ali district.
