Aleppo:

Rebel ‘Southern Aleppo Rural Operations Room’ released a statement announcing several localities in southern Aleppo as military zones and demanded that residents of the localities evacuate them. The localities announced as military zones are: Jazariya, Zammar, Al-Euthmania, Jadida Talafah, Huwair al-Eis, Tell Bajer, Banis, and Barna.

Idlib:

Ahrar al-Sham’s Shura Council appointed Jaber Ali Basha as the leader / general commander (commander-in-chief) of the group, after the former general commander Hassan Soufan was dismissed. Jaber Ali Basha previously acted as Soufan’s deputy. According to the reports, Hassan Soufan will be a member of Al-Jabhat al-Wataniya lil-Tahrir’s (National Liberation Front) leadership council.

Two improvised explosive devices targeted a Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s checkpoint at the outskirts of Afs village, north of Saraqib. Three elements of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham were killed in the incident.

Syrian Arab Army’s artillery targeted Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s positions in Al-Khuwayn, Saraqib, Sukayk, and Al-Lataminah. Syrian Arab News Agency released a report regarding the event;

SANA’s reporter in Hama said that army units carried out intensive strikes against terrorists’ positions on the western and southern outskirts of al-Latamina town in the northern countryside, killing a number of them and destroying their weapons and equipment.

In the southern countryside of Idleb, the reporter indicated that an army unit destroyed a fortified position for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Khawin town in Idleb southern countryside, killing all terrorists inside it among them terrorists Mohanad Ridwan al-Saleh and Abdul-Latif Khaled al-Qaddour.

The reporter added that army artillery conducted bombardments against a large gathering of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the surroundings of Saraqeb town in Idleb southern countryside, destroying a number of machinegun-equipped vehicles and killing scores of terrorists.

Meanwhile, an army unit inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist groups in Skaik town.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) launched a large attack on the Afghan National Security Forces’ positions in Jalguldi, Dewana Khana, Down Kala, and Yatim Qashlaq areas of Almar district and overran three large Afghan National Security Forces’ bases and seven checkpoints.

Balkh Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assassinated two commanders of the Afghan Local Police; Kamal and Tawakul Shah in Chahar Bolak district. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed in the encounter.

Baghlan Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked and destroyed two Afghan National Security Forces’ bases and a checkpoint in Baghlan-e-Markazi district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News claimed that 70 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed in the encounters, while the group seized four vehicles, a DShK heavy machine gun and 60 various weapons.

Kunar Province:

Two elements of the Afghan National Army surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Wata Pur district.

Kabul Province:

Islamic State took responsibility for the yesterday’s suicide attack in city of Kabul, which killed at least 48 and wounded 67 individuals.

Nangarhar Province:

Logar Province:

Five elements of the Afghan National Army and the Afghan National Police defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Muhammad Agha district.

Paktia Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 25 and wounded 15 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Zamenki and Jani Khel districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Ghor Province:

Residents of Shabaghan, Asfia Sang, Boti, and Barazi areas in Saghar district pledged their allegiance to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The aforementioned areas consists of more than 1000 families, under the leadership of tribal leaders Abdul Ahad and Mawlavi Abdul Haq. Besides the tribal leaders, 20 elements of the Afghan Local Police joined the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the aforementioned areas.

Ghazni Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized two Afghan National Army’s posts in Qarabagh district, reportedly killing 11 soldiers in the process.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 20, wounded eight, and arrested 25 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shivan village of Bala Buluk district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 18 and wounded eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khas Urozgan district.

Nimruz Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked Afghan National Army’s positions in Ghorghori area of Khash Rod district, reportedly killing eight and wounding 21 elements, as well as destroying six armored personnel carriers. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and four wounded in the encounters.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a motorcycle, three weapons caches, and 20 improvised explosive devices in Jerashk district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s post in Haji Jang Agha area of Nawa-I-Barakzayi district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News stated that 16 elements of the Afghan National Army were killed, as well as three vehicles destroyed in the encounter. Two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed and three wounded in the encounter.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 13 and wounded nine elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Maruf district.
