Aleppo:

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham arrested nine individuals suspected of belonging to the Islamic State in the village of Abyan Samean in western Aleppo. Among the nine arrested individuals are reportedly two former commanders of the Islamic State.

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) ‘Wrath of Olives Operation Room’ released a video showing execution of two elements of Faylaq al-Sham near Deir Balut village in Jindires subdistrict of Afrin.

Raqqa:

Improvised explosive device targeted a Syrian Democratic Forces’ checkpoint in the city of Raqqa, killing an element of the Syrian Democratic Forces’ Manbij Military Council, as well as wounding a civilian. Separately, an improvised explosive device killed a civilian near the village of Al-Asadiya, north of Raqqa.

Idlib:

Ammunition depot exploded and collapsed a building full of civilians in the city of Sarmada, north of Idlib. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), 36 civilians were killed and dozens more wounded in the incident, while at least 12 civilians were rescued from the rubble.

Hama:

Russian Military Police took control of Al-Suqaylabiyah- Qalaat al-Madiq and Morek – Souran crossings in northern Hama from the Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Division. The two crossings were reportedly closed for security reasons after the Russian Military Police assumed control over them. Syrian Arab Army and allies’ reinforcements keep arriving in northern Hama, in preparations for the expected military operations against rebel factions.

Improvised explosive device wounded 15 civilians near the village of Al-Tuwayna in Al-Ghab Plain region. The explosion occurred when the civilians attempted to cross from Al-Tuwayna towards areas under the control of the Syrian government. The wounded civilians were transferred to a hospital in Maarat al-Numaan.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies captured Qabr Sheikh Hussein and Tell Manat al-Husan in eastern Al-Suwayda from the Islamic State and established full control over the administrative border between Al-Suwayda and Damascus governorates. Remaining Islamic State’s elements are besieged in Tell al-Safa area. Syrian Arab News Agency released a report regarding the event;

SANA reporter said Sunday that army units established full control over the administrative borders of Sweida eastern countryside after eliminating many terrorists, while the remnants fled away.

The reporter added that army units continued operations against Daesh gatherings in the direction of the administrative borders of Damascus Countryside Province after regaining control over Tal Manat al-Husan, and they advanced in the direction of Ard al-Baida and al Rahbeh.

Army units encircled terrorists’ gatherings in Toloul al-Safa after cutting off all their supply routes, according to the reporter.

The reporter added that the engineering units continued to comb the liberated areas in the depth of Sweida Badiyah, in addition to removing and dismantling the explosive devices, mines and car bombs left behind by Daesh terrorists.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Ghormach district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s post in Camp area of Chilgazi district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News claimed that 14 elements of the Afghan National Army were killed, 27 wounded, and seven arrested in the encounter. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and three wounded in the encounter.

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Qalay-I-Zal district.

Baghlan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Dahana-I-Ghuri district.

Kunar Province:

Islamic State started clashing with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Korengel and several other mountainous areas of Dara-I-Pech (Manogi) district.

Laghman Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Mihtarlam district.

Nangarhar Province:

Maidan Wardak Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded ten elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nirkh district.

Badghis Province:

Afghan National Army’s element surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with his weapon in Sang Khars area of Sang Atish district.

Ghazni Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Afghan National Security Forces continued clashing in and around the city of Ghazni, with the former making even more advances. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid stated that the group overran the Old Ghazni airbase and cleared Qala Shada area, as well as destroyed 20 pickups.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Bala Buluk district.

Urozgan Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed nine elements of the Afghan National Army and destroyed an armored personnel carrier in Shamansor area of Tarinkot district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Lashkar Gah district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s post in Pankli area of Sangin district, reportedly killing five soldiers in the process.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as seized two vehicles in Nesh district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
