Aleppo:

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) Media Center stated that six elements of the Turkish Armed Forces and the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army were killed in operations conducted by the group in Afrin region. Full statement by the Media Center;

During the first week of August, our units carried out a series of operations in Afrin city center and the villages of the Sherawa and Jinderes districts. As a result, a number of terrorists were killed.

On August 6th, an explosive device was detonated under the military vehicle belonging to Failaq Sham terrorist group on the road between the villages of Kibashin and Burj Haidar in Sherawa district. The vehicle was destroyed and one of the mercenaries was killed.

Our units carried out another bombing operation, this time targeting a Turkish armored vehicle on the road between Afrin city center and Jinderes district. Operation resulted in the destruction of the vehicle, death of two Turkish soldiers and the injury of three others.

On that same day, our units detonated an explosive device in the center of Afrin city, targeting the so-called military police of Turkish-backed jihadist groups. As a result, three terrorists were killed and seven others were wounded.

Between 5th and 6th of August, the Turkish occupation forces and its mercenaries carried out a number of combing and search operations in the villages of Afrin’s Rajo, Bilbile, and Shia districts, yet they ended without results.

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) ‘Wrath of Olives Operation Room’ released a video showing execution of an element of Faylaq al-Sham in Afrin region.

Idlib:

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham killed an Islamic State’s security official during a raid on one of the group’s headquarters in the village of Barisa, east of Idlib.

Afghanistan

Balkh Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s (Taliban) snipers killed one and wounded two elements of the Afghan National Army in Chimtal district.

Five elements of the Afghan Local Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with their weapons in Chimtal district.

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Qalay-I-Zal district.

Takhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khwaja Ghar district.

Laghman Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Mihtarlam district.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed an element of the Islamic State in Deh Bala (Haska Meyna) district.

Badghis Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan raided an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Kham Abasi area of Qala i Naw district. Three elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and four wounded, while an element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was wounded in the raid.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored vehicle, wounding two soldiers in Perozo area of Muqur district.

Afghan National Army’s commander Habibullah and five other elements of the army surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Ab Kamari district. The elements handed over two PK machine guns and four assault rifles to the group.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed a vehicle, while the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed two elements of the Afghan National Police in Ghazni district.

Nine elements of the Afghan Local Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with their weapons in Muqur district.

Paktika Province:

19 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Wazakhwa, Khair Kot, and Wor Mamay districts.

Zabul Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shah Joy district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Marjah district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked Afghan National Security Forces’ elements on a road in Sangin district, reportedly destroying an armored personnel carrier, as well as killing and wounding ten elements.
