Aleppo:

Unknown gunmen killed two elements of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army’s Tajammu Ahrar al-Sharqiya at Numan junction in Hazwan village, north of Aleppo. Reports claimed that the Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) cells are responsible for the killing of two elements.

Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army found the body of Omar Kadro, battalion commander in Al-Jaysh al-Watani al-Suri’s (Syrian National Army) Al-Liwa 51 (51st Brigade) near the city of Jinderes in Afrin region. Kadro was kidnapped by unknown gunmen between Hammam and Iskandar villages 15 days ago.

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) ‘Wrath of Olives Operation Room’ released a video showing execution of an element of Faylaq al-Sham in Jinderes region.

Raqqa:

Two left over Islamic State’s improvised explosive devices wounded three civilians in Al-Tawseiyah neighborhood of Raqqa city.

Latakia:

Katibat Jabal al-Islam (Islam Dağı Taburu) conducted an inghimasi (suicide fighters) attack against the Syrian Arab Army and its allies near Tell al-Draq on Rabia axis. According to the reports, at least seven elements of the Syrian Arab Army were killed in the attack.

Unknown gunmen kidnapped the director of ‘Sahel Health Directorate’, Dr Khalil Agha in Ayn al-Baida region. After the incident took place, the Sahel Health Directorate announced it suspended its work in all of its centers and hospitals in the region.

Idlib:

Unknown gunmen killed a civilian in the village of Al-Rami, south of Idlib.

Al-Suwayda:

Islamic State’s element conducted a suicide attack against a Syrian Social Nationalist Party’s military point at Tell al-Rezin, east of Al-Suwayda. Syrian Social Nationalist Party officially announced that four of its elements were killed during encounters with the Islamic State at Tell al-Rezin, while other sources reported that additional five elements of the party were wounded in the attack.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) killed three elements of the Afghan National Army, including commander Eid Muhammad in Bazar Tapa area of Shirin Tagab district.

Nangarhar Province:

Islamic State ambushed and killed an element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan near Dawlat Ze village in Chaparhar district.

Ghazni Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan stormed Jaghatu district’s center and nearby Afghan National Police’s headquarters, as well as several posts. According to the reports, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized five posts from the Afghan National Security Forces, killing 15 and wounding 16 elements. However, Ghazni Police stated that 30 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed and 15 wounded during clashes in Jaghatu district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Pusht Rod district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s base near Khwaja Khizr area of Bala Buluk district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News claimed that 16 elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and two wounded in the encounter, while the group seized 12 assault rifles, two PK machine guns, and an RPG launcher from the base. Afghan Air Force’s bombardment of the aforementioned area killed three and wounded five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chonarto district.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s post in Loy Killi area of Shinkay district, killing five and wounding two soldiers in the process.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device killed three and wounded two elements of the Afghan National Army in Daychopan district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces wounded two and arrested one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a motorcycle, nine improvised explosive devices, and two fighting positions in Jerashk and Sangin districts.

Afghan National Security Forces conducted a special operation in Khun Bibi village of Garmsir district, reportedly killing a senior Al-Qaeda element, Abdul Rahim al-Masri, as well as six other elements accompanying him.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed five elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Narghal and Zangitan areas of Shah Wali Kot district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
