Aleppo:

Improvised explosive device wounded three civilians near Al-Kabir mosque in the city of Al-Bab.

Idlib:

Demonstrations against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham were held in the village of Hazarin, demanding that the group releases Free Syrian Army’s commander and leader of military council in Hazarin, Ahmed Qantari (Abu Hamza), who was arrested yesterday by the group at a checkpoint on the road between Kafr Nabl and Hazarin. The demonstrations were attended by around 75 individuals, who closed roads leading in and out of the village, as well as burned tires and chanted slogans against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.

Residents of Khan Sheikhoun expelled elements of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham from the locality, after the latter attempted to establish headquarters of the “Islamic Police” (Al-Hesba).

Improvised explosive device wounded an element of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham near a checkpoint in the city of Sarmin.

Al-Quneitra:

Improvised explosive device killed a civilian in the village of Ghadir al-Bustan in southern Al-Quneitra.

Daraa:

Left over Islamic State-affiliated Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid’s improvised explosive device killed a civilian on the road between Al-Shajara and Nafea in Al-Yarmouk basin.

Afghanistan

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Archi (Dasht-e Archi) district.

Kunar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces conducted large-scale clearance operations against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Ghaziabad, Asmar, and Nari districts. Afghan Ministry of Defense claimed that 51 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed during the operations, including the group’s military commander in Asmar district, Sultan Muhammad, the group’s governor of Asmar district, Mawlavi Hazrat Ali, and the group’s governor of Ghaziabad district, Mawlavi Imran.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 28 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khogyani district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense. Separately, an Islamic State’s element was killed by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Deh Bala (Haska Meyna) district.

Afghan National Security Forces arrested an important element of the Haqqani Network known as Rahmatullah in the city of Jalalabad. The security forces also arrested four individuals accompanying Rahmatullah.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan Local Police’s vehicle, killing four and wounding two elements of the police in the city of Jalalabad.

Paktia Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Sharana district.

Ghazni Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan assassinated Afghan Local Police’s commander Allauddin in Qarabagh district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Sur and Rajah areas of Farah district.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 16 and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed several fighting positions in Deh Rawud and Tarinkot districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Helmand Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Shawal area of Nad Ali district. Five elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and wounded in the encounter.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Army’s commander Abdul Samad and ten other elements of the army surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Salsun area of Maruf district. The elements handed over an RPG launcher, two PK machine guns, and eight assault rifles to the group.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
