Idlib:

Evacuation of fighters and civilians from Fuah and Kafraya pocket finished today, as dozens of buses headed towards Syrian government-held areas in southern Aleppo through Al-Eis crossing. In return, 12 buses carrying hundreds of detainees entered rebel-held areas through Al-Eis crossing and reached Shuhaib mosque in Idlib city. Additional 24 buses are waiting to head towards Idlib through the crossing.

Improvised explosive device killed three elements of Ahrar al-Sham in the city of Kafraya, after the evacuation of the locality took place. Similarly, two individuals were wounded by an improvised explosive device on a road towards Fuah.

Damascus:

Improvised explosive device wounded two civilians in Mashrue Damar district of the city of Damascus.

Al-Quneitra:

Free Syrian Army and the Syrian government reached an agreement regarding the former’s surrender and evacuation of those unwilling to surrender. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, the Syrian Arab Army will return to its pre-2011 points due to this agreement. Ten buses already arrived at Umm Batina village, in order to evacuate rebel fighters that do not want to reconcile with the Syrian government.

Daraa:

Syrian Arab Army and allies captured Al-Sukariyah, Tell Sina, 112th Brigade, Khirbet Jabiyah, Al-Sheikh Saed, Tell al-Bahsa, Tell Ashtara, Khirbet al-Tira, and Tell al-Jabiyah from rebel factions in northern Daraa.

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency stated that the group’s elements repelled Syrian Arab Army’s attacks on Jallin and Tell Ashtara in western Daraa. According to the agency, 25 elements of the Syrian Arab Army were killed in the encounters.

Afghanistan

Badakhshan Province:

11 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in various areas of Kishim district.

Nangarhar Province:

Herat Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s post in Chako area of Gulran district. Eight elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and four wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized two PK machine guns, seven assault rifles, an RPG launcher, and a DShK heavy machine gun from the post.

Ghor Province:

Residents of Jari Surkh and Peroz Koh areas in Firozkooh (Chaghcharan) district pledged their allegiance to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The aforementioned areas consist of more than 50 families, under the leadership of commander Muhammad. The commander reportedly handed over 20 assault rifles to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces discovered and defused ten improvised explosive devices in Ghazni district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored vehicle, killing four soldiers in Jabarwalo area of Ghazni district. Similarly, two Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices destroyed two Afghan National Army’s armored vehicles, killing four and wounding four soldiers in Badwano area of Andar district.

Farah Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked several Afghan National Police’s checkpoints on the road towards Farah in Farah Rod district. Six elements of the Afghan National Police were killed and five wounded, while one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and another wounded in the encounters.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces destroyed an Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s camp in Khas Urozgan district.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed four elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Shah Joy and Qalat districts.

Helmand Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s post in Yakchal area of Nahri Saraj district. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News, at least 14 elements of the Afghan National Army were killed, while two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed and three wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized five assault rifles, a PK machine gun, an RPG launcher, and a sniper rifle from the post.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed Afghan National Army’s commander, Sheer Muhammad in Khojak Baba area of the 4th Police District in the city of Kandahar.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
