Aleppo:

Commander of the Free Syrian Army’s Al-Jabhat al-Shamiyah (Levant Front), Ahmed Mesto (Abu Aslan al-Kurdi), who was reported as assassinated by unknown gunmen (likely by a Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) cell) in the village of Al-Amiriyah in Afrin region on 8th of June, revealed that he is still alive and was just wounded in the incident. Sources close to Mesto reported that he was killed rather than wounded, in order to provide him with security during his recovery in a hospital.

Idlib:

Dozens of buses entered besieged Fuah and Kafraya, in preparations for the evacuation of civilians and fighters to the areas under the control of the Syrian government in southern Aleppo. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, 121 buses and a dozen of Syrian Arab Red Crescent’s ambulances entered the two localities.

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) ‘Wrath of Olives Operation Room’ stated that five elements of Faylaq al-Sham were killed and six wounded, as well as an ammunition depot destroyed in an operation conducted by the operations room in Atme area. Our forces carried out an operation against the mercenaries of al- Sham Corps on 16 July 2018 in Atama area, which was taken by the Turkish occupation army and their mercenaries a major stronghold for their operations in the occupation of Afrin, where an ammunition depot and a paint factory were bombed, in addition to the killing of 5 mercenaries, And we will say that whoever has a hand in the occupation of Afrin will be our target and the Turkish state can not protect them and they must leave Afrin. As long as the people of Afrin are displaced and refugees, no mercenaries will sleep in the house because it will be a target. We believe that we are everywhere In which injustice was found, how injustice is practiced against our defenseless people as well as the result of the practices of the Turkish state and its mercenaries, so we promise everyone who had a hand in the occupation of Afrin and looted its wealth and insulted its people in the difficult calculation and promised we will liberate you from the occupation and we are coming .”

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham conducted anti-Islamic State operations in the village of Maar Shurin, south of Idlib. According to the reports, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham arrested ten individuals suspected of belonging to the Islamic State during the operations.

Hama:

Unknown gunmen assassinated an element of the Free Syrian Army’s Jaysh al-Nasr near the city of Qalaat al-Madiq in northern Hama.

Daraa:

Syrian Arab Army and allies captured Tell Umm Hawran, Tell al-Hish, and Barqa north of the city of Nawa. Separately, Free Syrian Army’s factions in Nawa reportedly reached a reconciliation agreement with the Syrian government and Russia.

Before the reconciliation agreement in Nawa, the Syrian Arab Army and the Syrian Arab Air Force intensively targeted the locality. Reports claimed that at least 17 civilians were killed and dozens wounded by the targeting. Free Syrian Army’s commander of Firqat al-Shahid Jamil Abu Zayn Sharaf, Qassim Abu al-Zayn was killed in the targeting of Nawa.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s (Taliban) snipers killed five elements of the Afghan National Security Forces in Shirin Tagab and Qaramqol districts.

Two elements of the Afghan Local Police defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Yokhin area of Gurziwan districts.

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 21 and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Imam Sahib and Archi (Dasht-e Archi) districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Badakhshan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight and arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two vehicles and two fighting positions in Ishkashim and Zebak districts.

Sar-e Pol Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Islamic State clashed in Sayyad district, with reports suggesting that 15 elements were killed and four wounded in the clashes.

Laghman Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed seven fighting positions in Dawlat Shah district.

Nangarhar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan Local Police’s post on a hill in Gardi area of Momand Dara. Afghan Local Police’s commander Ajmal and two other elements of the local police were killed, while additional four elements were wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an assault rifle and an RPG launcher from the post.

Logar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Saydabad district.

Paktia Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 29 and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Zurmat and Shwak districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Andar district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two, wounded five, and arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Pusht Rod district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s element infiltrated an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Raj area of Farah district. The element opened fire on elements present at the checkpoint, killing four elements of the Afghan National Army and seizing four assault rifles before linking up with the nearby Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s elements.

Zabul Province:

Two Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices targeted an Afghan National Army’s foot patrol, killing four and wounding two soldiers in Manda area of Mizan district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices in Jerashk, Nad Ali, and Nahri Saraj districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran and destroyed an Afghan National Police’s checkpoint in Haji Jang Agha area of Nawa-I-Barakzayi district. Five elements of the Afghan National Police were killed, while two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed and one wounded in the encounter.
