Aleppo:

Yekîneyên Parastina Gel’s (People’s Protection Units) Press Office released a press release claiming that the group’s elements killed nine elements of the Turkish Armed Forces and three elements of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army in Afrin region between 11th and 15th of July. Full press release by the Press Office;

Between July 11 and 15, our units have carried out a series of operations against Turkish army and its jihadist allies, which resulted in the death of 9 Turkish and 3 jihadist terrorists in occupied Afrin. The details regarding the actions are as follows;

On July 11, our forces planted an explosive device on a military road used by Turkish army in Basela village of Afrin’s Shara district. Eight soldiers, including 3 high ranking officials (two liutenants and a captain), were killed as result of the explosion.

On July 13, our forces targeted a military vehicle carrying Turkish soldiers and Firqat al-Hamza mercenaries on their way to Afrin’s Kimarah village. The operation resulted in the death of a Turkish terrorist and 2 mercenaries, while another Turkish terrorist was injured seriously.

On July 14, our forces targeted a military vehicle belonging to the mercenary group called al-Basrawi with a pre-prepared explosive device in Afrin. Four mercenaries were heavily injured.

On July 15, one of the leaders of Faylaq al-Sham terrorists called as Mohammad al-Hamoud was ambushed by our unit on the road between Afrin and village of Qatma. The terrorist has been killed.

The number of the deaths of Turkish invasion army and its jihadist allies since the beginning of the attacks to invade Afrin has risen to 2.527.

Unknown gunmen assassinated two elements of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham on a road in the village of Abyan Saman, west of Aleppo. Similarly, unknown gunmen assassinated an element of the Free Syrian Army’s Firqat al-Sultan Murad (Sultan Murad Division) in the city of Ihtaimlat, north of Aleppo.

Dozens of demonstrators in the city of Al-Bab blocked a Syrian National Coalition’s delegation from entering Al-Bahtri school in the city. After blocking the delegation, the demonstrators moved to the headquarters of Al-Bab’s local council and forced the delegation’s members to withdraw from the city of Al-Bab. The demonstrators chanted slogans against the coalition and accused its members of coming to the region in order to conduct reconciliations in agreement with Russia. The delegation’s security personnel attempted to disperse the demonstrators by firing into the air, prompting the demonstrators to throw rocks at the delegation’s vehicle.

Raqqa:

Left over Islamic State’s improvised explosive device wounded a civilian in Al-Nahda neighborhood of the city of Raqqa.

Unknown individuals targeted a Syrian Democratic Forces’ vehicle with an RPG on a road near the 17th Division, north of Raqqa. Reports suggest that three elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces were killed and two wounded in the incident.

Idlib:

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham reached an agreement with the Syrian government and Iran regarding the evacuation of civilians and fighters from Fuah and Kafraya. According to the agreement, the Syrian government will release around 1500 individuals currently detained it its prisons, in exchange for around 5000 civilians and fighters from the two aforementioned villages. Hayat Tahrir al-Sham will also release the remaining kidnapped individuals from the village of Ishtabraq, while the Syrian government will also release around 40 rebel fighters belonging to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Jabhat Tahrir Suriya, and Free Idlib Army.

Unknown individuals attempted to assassinate Hurras al-Deen’s judge, Abu Abdullah al-Hadir in the city of Saraqib. The individuals opened fire on Al-Hadir and then attempted to run him over with a vehicle. Al-Hadir was seriously wounded in the incident.

Daraa:

Syrian Arab Army and allies captured Al-Mal, Tell al-Mal, Tell Aqraba, Nimr, Al-Aliyah, and Jassim in northern Daraa from rebel factions.

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency stated that one of its elements; Abu Hussein al-Ansari conducted an SVBIED operation against the Syrian Arab Army and the Free Syrian Army in the city of Al-Hara, as the latter was handing over the locality to the former. Amaq Agency claimed that around 100 elements were killed and wounded by the explosion. According to the reports, Syrian Arab Army’s First Lieutenant Basil Miqdad al-Shalabi and Sama TV’s correspondent Mustafa Salama were announced as killed, however, there is no confirmation that they were killed in the aforementioned event in Al-Hara.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 23, wounded 13, and arrested one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Gurziwan and Khwaja Sahib Posh districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News stated that a group’s element infiltrated an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Chahar Shanba area of Chilgazy district and opened fire on elements stationed at the checkpoint. Afghan National Army’s commander Ebadullah and five other elements of the army were killed in the encounter. The infiltrator seized two PK machine guns, an RPG launcher, and an assault rifle.

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 14 and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chardara and Archi (Dasht-e Archi) districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan launched a large-scale operation against the Afghan National Security Forces in Qarghaz, Joy Baigam, Qarghan Tapa, and Imamuddin Dara areas of Imam Sahib districts. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News, the group overran seven checkpoints and a base in the aforementioned areas, reportedly killing 19 and wounding 12 elements in the process. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and three wounded in the encounters.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 20 and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two camps in Khogyani district.

Maidan Wardak Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Sheikh Abad area of Saydabad district, killing five and wounding two soldiers in the process. Two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed and two wounded in the encounters. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized two PK machine guns, seven assault rifles, an RPG launcher, and a sniper rifle from the checkpoint.

Logar Province:

Several Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive devices targeted an Afghan National Army’s convoy in Dado Khel area of Pol-e Alam district. The explosions reportedly destroyed three vehicles, killing and wounding 13 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces.

Khost Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed nine elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Jaji district.

Herat Province:

Afghan National Security Forces wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shindand district.

Ghazni Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s convoy on Kabul – Kandahar highway in Malangano and Yargato areas of Andar district. Ten elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and wounded, as well as three armored vehicles destroyed in the attack. Separately, an Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed three elements of the Afghan National Army in Badano area of Andar district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed nine and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two vehicles in Bala Buluk district.

Zabul Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shah Joy district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 26 and wounded six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Sangin, Marjah, Lashkar Gah, and Nawa-I-Barakzayi districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Afghan National Security Forces conducted a special operation against an Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s prison in Musa Qala district. According to the Afghan Ministry of Defense, the security forces managed to free 58 individuals from the prison, including 15 elements of the Afghan National Police and four elements of the Afghan National Army. Three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were arrested in the operation.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Police’s checkpoint in Sarkar Veyali area of Lashkar Gah district. Afghan National Police’s commander Ibrahim and six elements of the police were killed, as well as an armored vehicle destroyed in the encounter. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and another wounded in the encounter.

Kandahar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 62 and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Maruf district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran four Afghan National Army’s posts in Sarkar Veyala and Lakarie areas of Spin Boldak district. Nine elements of the Afghan National Army were killed, as well as four armored personnel carriers and a pickup destroyed, while three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an armored personnel carrier and a pickup from the posts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Tatochi Killi area of Shah Wali Kot district. Eight elements of the Afghan National Army were killed, as well as three armored personnel carriers and three pickups destroyed, while one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed in the encounter.
