Raqqa:

Syrian Democratic Forces reportedly captured Bir Mazal, Afrah, Al-Bujari, Ukruk, and Al-Badir in southern Al-Hasakah from the Islamic State.

Idlib:

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham executed four elements of the Islamic State, who were arrested yesterday near the city of Salqin.

Daraa:

Syrian Arab News Agency stated that the first batch of rebel elements and their families were evacuated from the rebel-held areas of the city of Daraa towards northern Syria. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, the batch reportedly consisted of around 400 rebel elements and civilians.

Rebel factions in the city of Daraa released five captured elements of the Syrian Arab Army, as part of a reconciliation agreement with the Syrian government and Russia.

Syrian Arab Army and allies launched attacks on rebel-held Masharah and Zimrin in northern Daraa, however, reports claim that rebels repelled the attacks, while both Masharah and Zimrin remain disputed between the two sides. Syrian Arab Army’s commander of the 137th Regiment, Brigadier General Rikan Diab was killed along with three elements of the army during battles for Masharah.

Afghanistan

Balkh Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) overran an Afghan National Police’s checkpoint in Chonkar area of Shor Tepa district. Three elements of the Afghan National Police were killed and five wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an armored vehicle, a PK machine gun, a DShK heavy machine gun, and two RPG launchers from the checkpoint.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed five elements of the Afghan Local Police, including commander Abdul Samad in Adina area of Chahi district.

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Archi (Dasht-e Archi) district.

Kunar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked three Afghan National Army’s checkpoints in Bargam area of Ghazi Abad district. Afghan National Army’s commander Rehman was killed in the encounters. Separately, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed five elements of the Afghan National Army in Jalalah area of Ghazi Abad district.

Laghman Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Alishang district.

Nangarhar Province:

Two elements of the Afghan National Army surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Golaie area of Ghani Khel district.

Maidan Wardak Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed ten and wounded 25 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chaki Wardak district.

Herat Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shindand district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces reportedly killed 68 and wounded 31 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed nine motorcycles and three vehicles in Khwaja Omari, Ajristan, Andar, Muqur, and Ghazni districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted an Afghan National Army’s foot patrol in Lono area of Qarabagh district, killing two and wounding one soldier.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 15 and wounded ten elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two vehicles and five motorcycles in Bala Buluk district.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight, wounded six, and arrested five elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Deh Rawud and Tarinkot districts.

Nimruz Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Army’s post in Manar area of Khash Rod district, reportedly killing nine soldiers in the process. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an RPG launcher, two PK machine guns, and a sniper rifle from the post.
