Aleppo:

Vehicle-borne improvised explosive device exploded near a health center and house of a commander of the Free Syrian Army’s Liwa al-Shamal in the city of Jarabulus. According to the reports, ten civilians were wounded by the explosion.

Idlib:

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency claimed responsibility for the yesterday’s assassination of three Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s elements at Sheikh Mansour checkpoint east of the city of Saraqib.

Improvised explosive device wounded three civilians on the road between Kafr Takharim and Armanaz, west of Idlib.

Deir al-Zour:

Vehicle-borne improvised explosive device exploded in the vicinity of a water station at the entrance to the Syrian Democratic Forces-held Al-Basirah in eastern Deir al-Zour. Reports suggest that eight civilians were killed and 20 wounded in the incident.

Daraa:

Several rebel-held cities in Al-Jaydour area in western Daraa; Inkhil, Nawa, Jassem, Nimr, and Al-Hara, reportedly formed a joint delegation in order to conduct negotiations regarding reconciliation with the Syrian government and Russia.

Syrian Arab Red Crescent delivered a humanitarian aid convoy to the city of Ibtaa, consisting of 20 trucks.

Afghanistan

Balkh Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two and arrested four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) in Chimtal district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed two elements of the Afghan Local Police and wounded two commanders; Sardar and Shah Muhammad in Angaragh area of Chahar Bolak district.

Kunduz Province:

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces arrested two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khogyani district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Army killed 14 and wounded 23 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Qarabagh and Ghazni districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Police’s base in Bagh area of Ghazni district, killing ten elements of the police, including commanders Musafir Rosie and Zafir in the process. Two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were killed in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an armored vehicle, a pickup, and a motorcycle from the base.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 12 and wounded seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Pur Chaman district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked two and overran one Afghan National Police’s checkpoint in Farah Rod district. Afghan National Police’s commander, Kamal Khan and four other elements of the police were killed, while an element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized a PK machine gun, an RPG launcher, and three assault rifles from the checkpoint.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 19 and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chahar Chino and Tarinkot districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense. Security forces also freed seven individuals from Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s prisons, as well as destroyed a vehicle, six motorcycles, and 38 improvised explosive devices.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked Afghan National Army’s positions in Shamansor, Kotwalo, and Wano areas of Tarinkot district. Eight elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and six wounded, as well as two armored personnel carriers and two checkpoint towers destroyed in the encounters. Two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were wounded in the clashes.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed three elements of the Afghan National Army in Kakarano area of Qalat district.

Three elements of the Afghan National Army surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Bawryo area of Qalat district. Similarly, an element of the Afghan National Army surrendered to the same group in Karato area of Arghandab district.

Nimruz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Kash Rod district.

Helmand Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran five Afghan National Security Forces’ centers in Basharan Dasht area of Lashkar Gah district. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and three wounded in the encounters.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed four elements of the Afghan National Army in Shawali area of Nad Ali district.
