Aleppo:

Katibat al-Hamza led by Abu Khawla attacked Syrian Arab Army’s positions in Tadef and made advances against the latter, before withdrawing from the captured areas due to the pressure from several leaders of rebel factions. At least seven elements of Katibat al-Hamza and four civilians were wounded in the encounter. Free Syrian Army’s Ahrar al-Sharqiya separated itself from Katibat al-Hamza on 12th of June, due to the faction’s disobedience of the General Command’s decisions.

Improvised explosive device targeted a gathering of civilians in Al-Hayya district of the city of Manbij, as the civilians were preparing for demonstrations organized by the Syrian Democratic Forces against Turkish intervention in the region. According to the reports, one civilian was killed and more than 20 wounded by the explosion.

Two vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices targeted Al-Bazar street in the city of Jarabulus. Two civilians were wounded by the two explosions.

Deir al-Zour:

Islamic State’s Amaq Agency claimed that the group’s improvised explosive devices killed four elements of the United States Army in the village of Al-Namliya in Al-Sur area.

Daraa:

Syrian Arab Army and its allies captured Saida and the air defense base just south of it from rebel factions. Syrian Arab Army also reportedly made advances at the outskirts of Al-Naima.

Rebel ‘Central Operations Room of the South’ stated its agreement to a ceasefire in southern Daraa and another round of negotiations with the Syrian government and Russia.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) overran an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Chahar Toth area of Pashtun Kot district. One element of the Afghan National Army was killed and two wounded, while two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were wounded in the encounter.

Two elements of the Afghan Local Police defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with their weapons in Taijam area of Almar district.

Kunduz Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan Local Police’s checkpoint in Surkh Baital area of Qalay-I-Zal district. Afghan Local Police’s commander, Al Bardi and three other elements of the local police were killed in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized two assault rifles, two PK machine guns, and a motorcycle from the checkpoint.

Badakhshan Province:

Afghan Local Police’s element surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with his weapon in the 8th Police District of Fayzabad.

Kunar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed three and wounded an element of the Islamic State in Chapa Dara district.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 21 elements of the Islamic State in Achin and Deh Bala districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s foot patrol in Shair Garh area of Ghani Khel district. Two elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and six wounded in the encounter.

Daykundi Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Kijran district.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 13 and wounded 14 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed five motorcycles in Muqur, Ab Band, and Qarabagh districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Paktika Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded one element of the Haqqani Network, as well as destroyed a vehicle in Barmal district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed an element of the Islamic State in Khaki Safed district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed a group of Afghan National Police’s elements in Deh Yak area of Farah district. Two elements of the Afghan National Police were killed in the encounter and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized their rifles.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 28 and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as seized several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Khas Urozgan and Tarinkot districts.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 22 and arrested one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Marjah, Nahri Saraj, and Jerashk districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device killed three elements of the Afghan National Army in Tor Kotal area of Shah Wali Kot district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now one strike report will be published each week on Mondays.
