Aleppo:

Syrian Democratic Forces’ Manbij Military Council reportedly arrested several elements of the rebel “guerrilla” group Harakat al-Qiyam in the city of Manbij.

Al-Hasakah:

Left over Islamic State’s improvised explosive device wounded two civilians in the village of Al-Rawiya, west of Al-Hasakah.

Quneitra:

Improvised explosive device targeted a vehicle of Jabhat Tahrir Suriya on the road between Suissa and Ayn Zaywan. The explosion wounded a commander of Jabhat Tahrir Suriya and a civilian.

Daraa:

Syrian Arab Army and allies’ artillery shelled Asim, Nahta, Musika, Jisri, and Al-Bustan. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), three civilians were killed and several wounded by the shelling of Nahta. Separately, Syrian Arab News Agency stated that rebel shelling of northern part of Daraa city killed one and wounded two civilians.

Syrian Arab Army and allies launched an attack against the rebel factions, aimed at isolating Al-Lajat area from other rebel-held areas in eastern Daraa governorate. Syrian Arab Army reportedly made advances on Al-Duweiri front, as well as captured an air defense base in the vicinity.

Four rebel factions in Mahajah; Ahrar al-Sham, Liwa Omar al-Mukhtar, Liwa Muhammad ibn Abdullah, and Liwa al-Fatah formed Tajammu Thuwar Mahajah (Gathering of Revolutionaries of Mahajah). The newly formed body is reportedly supposed to repel Syrian Arab Army’s attacks on the locality, as well as prevent reconciliation.

Al-Suwayda:

Syrian Arab Army and allies reportedly captured Khirbet al-Umbashi in northeastern Al-Suwayda from the Islamic State.

Afghanistan

Kunduz Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) overran and destroyed an Afghan National Security Forces’ post in Archi (Dasht-e Archi) district. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News, 19 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were killed and 11 wounded in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized nine assault rifles, a DShK heavy machine gun, a PK machine gun, an SPG-9 recoilless rifle, and an armored vehicle.

Badakhshan Province:

14 elements of the Afghan Local Police surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Warduj and Pishgan districts.

Sar-e Pol Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran two Afghan National Army’s posts in Sayyad district. Two elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and three wounded in the encounter.

Nangarhar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran and dismantled two Afghan National Police’s posts and a base in Khogyani district, killing six and wounding seven policemen in the process. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan also ambushed Afghan National Police’s reinforcements arriving to the overran posts and a base, killing one and wounding five policemen.

Maidan Wardak Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed two elements of the ‘National Directorate of Security’ in Saydabad district.

Ghazni Province:

23 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Muqur district.

Paktika Province:

16 elements of the Afghan National Security Forces surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with their weapons in Jani Khel district.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight and wounded 13 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as the latter was attempting to make advances against the former in Pusht Rod district. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Shahr Kuhna area of Pusht Rod district, killing six and wounding four soldiers.
