Aleppo:

Syrian Arab Army targeted and destroyed a Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s vehicle with an anti-tank guided missile in the vicinity of Al-Malah area, north of Aleppo city. Two elements of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham were reportedly killed by the explosion of the vehicle.

Syrian Civil Defense’s (The White Helmets) member died from wounds sustained on the 26th of May, when unknown gunmen attacked headquarters of the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets) in the village of Tell Hadiya, killing five and wounding three members of the organization. This news brings the death toll from the attack to six killed members.

Al-Hasakah:

CJTF-OIR conducted air raids against the Islamic State over the village of Hassan al-Ali in Tell al-Shayer region. However, the Syrian Arab News Agency stated that the air raids over Hassan al-Ali killed one and wounded two civilians.

Latakia:

Hurras al-Deen-affiliated Sham al-Ribat Media released a statement about the group conducting a raid against the Syrian Arab Army’s positions in the village of Ard al-Wata. According to the statement, more than six elements of the Syrian Arab Army were killed and wounded in the raid.

Deir al-Zour:

Islamic State launched an attack against the Syrian Arab Army and its allies near Al-Bukamal (Albu Kamal) and Hasrat in eastern Deir al-Zour. However, reports suggest that the Syrian Arab Army was able to repel the attack.

Daraa:

Two elements of the Islamic State-affiliated Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid infiltrated a Free Syrian Army’s headquarters in the village of Hayt. The two elements opened fire on the Free Syrian Army’s elements, killing at least five, according to the Islamic State’s Amaq Agency. Director of the information office of the rebel Sad al-Bagha operations room, Alaa Abu Qais stated that the two elements claimed that they were part of the Free Syrian Army’s Quwa Shabab al-Sunnah and opened fire on the elements, killing at least two. The two elements reportedly safely returned to the areas under the control of Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid after conducting the operation. Free Syrian Army’s Jaysh al-Thawra announced that its commander, Abdel Moneim Mohammed al-Issa (Abu Mohammed) and another element of the faction were killed, however, without specifying circumstances. Similarly, two elements of the Free Syrian Army’s Liwa al-Haramin were also reportedly killed in the encounter with the Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid’s elements.

Islamic State-affiliated Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid’s elements attempted to conduct another infiltration operation against the rebel factions in southern Daraa, this time at the outskirts of Al-Jubailiyah. Reports suggest that around 40 elements of Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid engaged Free Syrian Army’s factions at the outskirts of Al-Jubailiyah, after the latter foiled the infiltration attempt. Two elements of the Free Syrian Army were reported as killed in the clashes so far, while Jaysh Khalid ibn al-Walid’s casualties are unknown at the moment.

Afghanistan

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces arrested two Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s (Taliban) commanders / figures; Haji Najib and Shah Mohammad in Archi (Dasht-e Archi) district.

Takhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight, wounded six, and arrested one element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Khwaja Ghar district.

Badakhshan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 12 and wounded 14 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Kohistan district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan launched an attack against the Afghan National Security Forces in Jurm district, attacking the district’s administrative building. Five elements of the Afghan National Security Forces were reportedly killed and three wounded in the encounter.

Baghlan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Pul-e Khomri district.

Kunar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan reportedly killed two elements of the Islamic State in Nurgal, during clashes between the two sides.

Kabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an Afghan National Army’s post in Surobi district, killing three and wounding several soldiers in the process.

Nangarhar Province:

Logar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed a vehicle in the province.

Paktia Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized an Afghan National Army’s post in Ahmad Khel district. Three elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and three wounded, while two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were wounded in the encounter.

Badghis Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers killed two elements of the Afghan National Army in Murghab and Ghormach districts.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven and wounded eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as destroyed two vehicles in Andar and Khogyani districts. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s convoy in Andar district, reportedly killing five and wounding seven soldiers, as well as destroying three armored vehicles.

Farah Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Al-Emarah News stated that the group captured Pur Chaman district from the Afghan National Security Forces, after the district’s head, Haji Dawod, Afghan National Police’s chief, Abdul Wali, and district’s head of the ‘National Directorate of Security’, Abdul Zahir and their elements surrendered to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Al-Emarah News also stated that this is the 11th district the group has captured since starting the nation-wide spring Al-Khandaq offensive.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the province.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s convoy in Chato Pul area of Deh Rawud district. Eight elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and wounded in the encounter.

Zabul Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s vehicle in Malkizo Killi area of Naw Bahar district. Separately, an element of the Afghan National Army was killed by an Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper in Zafar Khelo area of Qalat district.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nahri Saraj and Nad Ali districts. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan killed nine elements of the Afghan Local Police in Parchwai and Seydabad areas of Nad Ali districts.

Kandahar Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier in Jilahor area of Arghandab district.

CJTF-OIR:

CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now two strikes reports will be published each week, on Mondays and Fridays.
