Aleppo:

Free Syrian Army’s Liwa al-Muntasir Biallah and the Free Syrian Police clashed in the city of Al-Rai in northern Aleppo, after a verbal altercation between the two sides escalated into clashes. One element of the Free Syrian Police was killed and three wounded, while four elements of Liwa al-Muntasir Biallah were wounded in the clashes. The killed Free Syrian Police’s element was identified as the Lieutenant Mahmoud Othman. Liwa al-Muntasir Biallah released a statement expressing its readiness to hand over any of its elements who are suspected of being involved in the clashes to the military court, if needed.

Around 200 families of internally displaced persons from Afrin returned to the region from Tell Rifaat and other Syrian Democratic Forces-held areas in northern Aleppo.

Raqqa:

Rebel “guerrilla” group Harakat al-Qiyam assassinated two elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the city of Raqqa and one element in the city of Tell Abyad.

Small demonstrations against the Syrian Democratic Forces’ forced recruitment were held in the city of Tabqa. The demonstrations were attended by around 60 individuals, who stopped the demonstrations out of fears of being arrested by Asayish (Security).

Idlib:

Improvised explosive device targeted a vehicle of Faylaq al-Sham on the road between Idlib and Maarat Misreen. Three elements of Faylaq al-Sham were wounded in the incident.

Russia, Turkey, and Iran reached a final agreement regarding Idlib de-escalation zone, which will be encompassed by a total of 29 observation points. Besides the 12 already present Turkish observation points, Russia will establish ten and Iran seven observations points in areas under the control of the Syrian Arab Army and allied militias, in order to monitor the de-escalation zone.

Hama:

Turkish Armed Forces’ convoy entered Syria through Kafr Lusin and headed towards Jabal Shahshabo and Morek, in order to strengthen observation points in those areas. The convoy consisted of 30 military vehicles and was escorted by Faylaq al-Sham.

Damascus:

Elements of the Syrian Arab Army and the Syrian Republican Guard were targeted by an explosion, as they were clearing rubble south of Damascus and trying to move a dead Islamic State’s element with an explosive belt around him. According to the reports, three elements of the Syrian Republican Guard were killed and several other elements wounded in the incident.

Afghanistan

Faryab Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) captured an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Gandab area of Chilgazy district. Two elements of the Afghan National Army were killed and four wounded in the encounter.

Jowzjan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 27 elements of the Islamic State in Derzab district, according to the Afghan National Army’s 209th ‘Shaheen’ (Falcon) Corps. Among the 27 killed elements are ten fighters from Uzbekistan, six from Tajikistan, and two from France.

Kunduz Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, including two commanders; Qari Shakur and Qari Halim, as well as destroyed two fighting positions in Imam Sahib district.

Kunar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded four elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as well as seized several weapons depots and ammunition caches in Dangam and Manogi districts.

Laghman Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed one and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Alingar district.

Nangarhar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed four elements of the Islamic State in Achin district.

Logar Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed five and wounded three elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Muhammad Agha district.

Paktia Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed nine elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Jani Khel district.

Badghis Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked several Afghan National Army’s checkpoints in Gharchagi and Tangi areas of Qadis district, and overran one of them. Three elements of the Afghan National Army were killed, three wounded, and four arrested in the encounter. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan seized a PK machine gun and six assault rifles from the checkpoint.

Herat Province:

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attacked an Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Yeaqobi area of Ghoryan district, killing three soldiers in the process. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan also engaged Afghan National Army’s reinforcements arriving at the checkpoint, destroyed a tank and killing four soldiers. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was wounded in the encounter.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and killed Afghan National Army’s commander Hafizullah in Naw Abad area of the city of Herat.

Ghor Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed nine and wounded 14 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Du Layna and Shahrak district.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed a vehicle of the head of Shahrak district, Haji Muhammad, wounding him and his guard.

Ghazni Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 26 and wounded six elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Qarbagh, Deh Yak, and Ghazni districts, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense.

Farah Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed 25 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Bala Buluk district, according to the Afghan Ministry of Defense. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier, killing six soldiers in Naelak Manda area of Bala Buluk district.

Urozgan Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven and wounded two elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Chora and Tarinkot districts.

Zabul Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed seven and wounded 11 elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Shah Joy district. One of the seven killed elements is an Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s commander named Beryali.

Helmand Province:

Afghan National Security Forces killed eight elements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Nad Ali and Garmsir districts.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan overran an Afghan National Police’s post in Sara Godar area of Lashkar Gah district. Five elements of the Afghan National Police were killed, while the remaining elements withdrew from the post.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and destroyed an Afghan National Army’s armored personnel carrier in Nawrozo area of Nad Ali district, killing three soldiers. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and two wounded in the encounter. Similarly, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed and destroyed an Afghan National Police’s pickup in Khasar Abad area of Nawa-I-Barakzayi district. One element of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was killed and another wounded in the encounter.
